What you get

    About this experience

Come explore the Saigon I actually love: the busy streets, tiny food stalls, hidden alleys and random little corners you’d probably never find on your own. We’ll try 6-7 local street-food tastings depends on what avaialable on that day. Between bites, we’ll duck into old apartment buildings, wander through the maze of local alleys, explore Saigon’s Cambodian neighborhood and get lost in the colorful Hồ Thị Kỷ Flower Market. No fancy tourist restaurants or rushing from one attraction to another. Just good food, interesting stories, local neighborhoods and plenty of spontaneous moments along the way. Small group, relaxed vibe, lots of food. Come hungry and curious. You might leave knowing Saigon a little differently. I suck at marketing so most of the time you get a private tour with me or one of my trusted team

An Amazing Culinary Tour with an Absolute Gem of Human Being

My partner and I just completed the Vegan Walking Tour with Spring and wow, what an incredible experience! Spring is such a beautiful soul. From the moment we met her, we could feel her genuine warmth and kindness radiating through everything she did. Spring didn't just show us amazing vegan food, she shared her heart with us. Her passion for veganism and compassion for all beings was so authentic and inspiring. She made us feel like we were exploring the city with a dear friend, not just on a tour. Every recommendation came with such care and thoughtfulness. What really stood out was how present and attentive Spring was with us. She took the time to really listen and connect, making sure we felt comfortable and excited about every stop. Her energy is so positive and uplifting, you can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply about the people she guides, this is the truth 😊🙏🏼 With all of our Mettā and gratitude, Noah and Cindy

Response from the operator: Noah and Cindy, I honestly don't know what to say... ❤️ I read your review twice because it touched me so deeply. Knowing that you felt cared for, listened to, and comfortable throughout the walk means more than any compliment about the food. Meeting people like you reminds me why I started doing this in the first place. Wishing you both lots of happiness on your journey, and I really hope our paths cross again someday. Sending you both lots of mettā 🙏

    My Lovely Vegan Vietnam Tour

Spring was a lovely tour guide to my friend and I. Truly. We were very comfortable talking with her and sharing laughs. All of the food places she took us to were very yummy :) She explained about the restaurants, about Vietnam itself, and little fun facts I would not have known. A lot of preparation went into making this a lovely, thorough, and guided experience. I even left my hat at the first restaurant and Spring and Hieu picked it up after the tour and returned it to me. Overall, delicious experience. Definitely recommend! :)

Response from the operator: Aww Erica, thank you so much 🥹 I genuinely had such a lovely time with you both. I still remember the little hat adventure haha I’m just glad we managed to get it back to you! Thank you for noticing all the little details and preparation that went into the tour. It was such a pleasure having you with me!

    Great experience - highly recommend!

Wow! So impressed by this food tour with Spring. She was very friendly and truly showed us some of the best vegan food in the area. It was really neat to be able to walk down the local alleys with her and learn more about city life from someone who lives here. The food was delicious with a lot of variety. We wouldn't have been able to find these places on our own. Thank you so much!

Response from the operator: It was such a pleasure showing you around our little corners of Saigon :) I’m happy you enjoyed wandering through the local alleys and discovering places you wouldn’t have found on your own. And I loved that your group had such a mix of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters ... making everyone happy is always the fun part! Thank you for the lovely review and for trusting us with your evening.

    Hidden gems food tour

Had the best time on the tour with Spring & Hieu they were super fun to be with and talk to for the evening! They took us to areas of Ho Chi Minh City we would never have gone to ourselves and showed us food from vendors which we probably would’ve never tried otherwise and it all tasted so good! Really appreciated how they adapted the tour to take our mixed group of vegan/vegetarians/meat eaters into account to make everyone happy! For our group of 8 it cost 900k vnd each which was great value for money. Spring was super responsive through WhatsApp, very easy to organise. Everyone in our group agreed it was their favourite tour in their time in Vietnam, and personally after travelling for 11 months I would say it’s my favourite of the whole trip, can’t recommend it enough!

Response from the operator: This review made me smile so much — thank you, Robert 😊 I’m so happy the tour became your favourite part of the whole Vietnam trip, especially after 11 months of travelling! That’s honestly such a huge compliment. Thank you again for such a lovely evening!

    Great tour!

Wonderful food, wonderful tour guide! It was just me and my partner on the tour and we had a great chat with Spring, and then food was delicious and varied.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! It was lovely having such a small group and getting to really chat and enjoy the evening together. I’m happy you enjoyed the food and the variety, that’s exactly what I love about showing people around Saigon. Thank you for coming along and for the kind words!

Late Night Food Walk & Chill: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.

How much does Late Night Food Walk & Chill cost?

    +

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Late Night Food Walk & Chill take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.

Is Late Night Food Walk & Chill worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 274 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Late Night Food Walk & Chill?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Late Night Food Walk & Chill suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Late Night Food Walk & Chill?

    +

Around 96 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Late Night Food Walk & Chill start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
