About this experience
Escape the HEAT!! During the Summer months Enjoy the Mountains on Horseback in Cool Weather!! In the Summer Months this is the best ride in Vegas! When it’s 115 degrees out at all the “other trail sites” we are a high of only 75 degrees. The riding trails at our Riding Stables provide you with views of deep forest to panoramic mountain overlooks including peaks. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a beautiful adventure over trails of western beauty where you may see deer, wild horses and donkeys. With a wide variety of horses, we can match everyone from the beginner ( never been on a horse) to the experienced rider to a suitable horse that fits you best. Adults and children alike enjoy the various animals that call the stables home. We do not ride near cliffs or any dangerous trails. During the winter (Nov 1- May 1) this tour is relocated to the Lake Mead location. The tour has red rock formations, desert atmosphere with green bushes. See a real inactive Volcano!

Not my lucky day on 7/11' The Horseback riding SCAM
I booked a 12pm horseback riding tour for 7/11 and was really excited, since I will have back surgery soon and might can't ride in the near future. I received a text message from the company asking can I come at 3pm instead of 12pm, because they need more than 1 rider to do the tour. I let them know I was already on my way in an uber. They asked if i can wait until 12:30pm because of issues with the guide. Even though I was inconvenienced I waited and no one showed up. I really wanted to do this tour!!! This was a big disappointment to my weekend that was going great! When texting them, they continued to lie and even said please return we are here. All lies!!! They refused to issue a refund. Please remove them from your excursion list.

UNETHICAL COMPANY SILVER STAR HORSEBACK RIDING
Silver Star / State Horseback riding tour. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL. I booked through trip advisor. In my booking confirmation it clearly says do not communicate with anyone via text if they request your credit card with a payment link. According to the matching phone number via text this is what happened! Silver Star or State Horseback riding kept asking for my credit card via a payment link. They asked for my personal information multiple times and seemed scammy. Stating it was for $1 invoice then it was for other things. I was not comfortable with any of this since the booking had a warning not to communicate if you are asked for your credit card with a payment link. I tried calling the number, my husband tried to communicate with them also and it came up on caller ID as some sort of care center. The website did not seem like a valid site. This company seems unethical. No way to communicate via phone, they have a no cancellation policy so will get your money through trip advisor and they refuse refunds. Look at previous reviews!!!! It looks like they have done this to multiple people. When I text messaged this company they said they would report me to viator and give viator information of my compliant and it seemed like a threat. After I posted a review, I was told by Silver Star if I didn't change my review there would be further action from this company against me for calling them a scam. This entire situation and service from this company was unethical. I gave plenty of notice to cancel and they get to keep my money without providing a service. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, STRANGE TEXT MESSAGES WITH A PAYMENT LINK AND THREATS. 0 stars.

Great ride for the family
Everything went exceptionally well. The ride was relaxing and the views were amazing. The guides were fun and made it enjoyable. The horses where the stars and they made it so much fun. The only issue was the ride to the site due to uber not showing up but that was quickly solved. I recommend highly, especially if you want to get out of the city.

Why this scores 41
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.
How much does Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.
Is Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 91 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Las Vegas Horseback Riding Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?
+
Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?
+
October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Las Vegas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
