Vintgar Gorge
The Vintgar gorge is a natural wonder located in the Triglav National Park, created by the crystal-clear water of the Radovna River. The 1.6 km long wooden walkway leads the way around the gorge to get you as close to the turquoise water and its formations (waterfalls, pools and rapids) as possible. Beside the amazing natural creations, onlookers can also admire man-made sights: the old stone bridge of the Bohinj Railway, constructed in 1906 and the dam from which the water is routed to the small Vintgar hydroelectric power plant. Towards the end of the gorge, onlookers become dazzled by the Šum waterfall, the largest river waterfall in Slovenia. Experience tranquility, calmness and the most intact nature.

Wonderful trip with incredible scenery
Fantastic day with our guide, Samir. The whole day was tailored to what we wanted to do. We were able to choose which places to visit and how long we wanted at each stop. We were able to cram in a visit to Lake Bled (castle, pletna boat ride and walk), swimming at Lake Bohinj and a walk through Vintgar Gorge. All stunning! Pick up was easy and very close to our accommodation. Samir gave loads of insights into the history and landmarks of Slovenia and many excellent restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Lake Bled, Bled Castle, Lake Bohinj, and Vintgar Gorge offer breathtaking, postcard-perfect views at every single turn. A major highlight was swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the lake—an unforgettable experience we would highly recommend to anyone! Our transport was excellent, but what truly made the trip exceptional was our incredible guide. He was warm, friendly, accommodating, and deeply knowledgeable. Beyond the stunning sights, he gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations for the rest of our holiday. We followed every single suggestion, and our dining experiences were absolutely fabulous! If you are thinking about booking this trip, do not hesitate. It is a beautiful country, the sights are amazing, and the service was flawless. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience
I would highly recommend this trip. We travelled as a group of friends celebrating a special birthday. The day was amazing from start to finish and we visited so many beautiful places and made memories to last a lifetime. Our guide, Samir was absolutely brilliant. Not only did he make sure we knew where to go and get picked up from, he also spoke to us at length about the history of Slovenia, gave us so much information about where we were visiting and even advice about places to eat and drink throughout our time away. 5 star trip.
