Spooky & Fun!
This was my partners and I first night hike! We love hiking and the paranormal so it was the perfect mix. The hike itself was amazing and beautiful even in the dark. The vibes from the group made it even more fun! 10/10 recommend.

See a different side of L.A.
The vibes were great. Our tour guide, Robert, was knowledgeable, kind, and so prepared. He had water, lights, candy, for those who came without. Hike was great - challenging, but enjoyable. Saw some great things. 100% would do again and highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining us under the night sky! 🌙👻 Your kind words truly mean a lot. It was a pleasure sharing the trails, stories, history, and mysteries of Griffith Park with you. We always want our ghost hikers to feel prepared, safe, and welcomed—whether that means an extra light, some water, a little candy, or simply good company along the trail. 🥾✨ Until our paths cross again—keep exploring, keep wondering, and never stop believing in a little mystery. — Robert LA Night Hikers 🌙 @lanighthikers

Worth the 2 hour drive
So much fun !! Came all the way from the inland empire to check it out and definitely did not disappoint , a peaceful and mindful experience, guide was respectful of the spirits so I didn’t fear anything coming home with us ! :)
Response from the operator: 👻🌙 Some journeys are worth traveling for… even from the Inland Empire to the haunted trails of Griffith Park. Thank you so much for making the journey to experience LA Night Hikers with us. Knowing that the evening felt peaceful, mindful, and memorable means everything to me. Thank you for trusting me to guide you through the darkness, the history, the mystery, and those quiet moments when Griffith Park feels just a little different. May you travel home with wonderful memories, peaceful energy, and plenty of stories to tell—but no unexpected passengers. 👻😂 Until we meet again beneath the moon… With gratitude from the haunted trails, Robert & LA Night Hikers 🌕🥾👻 @lanighthikers

Fun and Spooky Time!
I was a little nervous because I was going solo, but Robert instantly made me feel at ease. He created a warm, safe and inclusive environment. He's incredibly respectful, not just to the living but to those who have passed as well. I highly recommend this hike to anyone - skeptics and believers alike! It offers great views of the city, history, and of course, a little spookiness. It's not a super difficult hike but wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk uphill and downhill on uneven ground. I'd definitely do it again!
Response from the operator: 👻🌙 Thank you so much for these beautiful words! It truly means so much to know that you felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable joining us on the trails — especially coming solo. LA Night Hikers is about more than ghost stories. It’s about respecting the history, honoring those who came before us, sharing a few chills, and creating memories with new friends beneath the Los Angeles night sky. 🌙🥾 Thank you for trusting me and my little ghostly dream. I hope our paths cross again someday… Until we meet again on the haunted trails. 👻🌲✨

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.
How much does LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers cost?
+
Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.
Is LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?
+
Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Griffith Observatory Hike: Guided Tour through Griffith Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?
+
March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Angeles?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers?
+
Included: Bottled water. Not included: Snacks; and Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers?
+

What languages is LA Night Hikers / Instagram @lanighthikers offered in?
+

+
