We start with 2 miles hike through trails of solidified volcanic lava and primary rainforest to reach the lookout, which is as close to the Arenal Volcano as you can safely reach. From there, the views of Lake Arenal, the secondary rainforest, and areas devastated by ancient eruptions will be impressive. Around 11:30 a.m. we will move on to the second point of interest. The 230ft high La Fortuna Waterfall is a breathtaking place, where you can take a refreshing swim or just photograph this magical waterfall and its splendid surrounding. Around 1:00 p.m., we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a typical food restaurant. Next, around 2:30 p.m., we will make our way to the Hanging Bridges to walk along a trail through the rainforest and across bridges high above the treetops, to observe plants and animals from a different perspective. The 2 miles circuit trail includes 15 impressive hanging and stationary bridges. As night falls, we head to your hotel or to the hot springs.

Great intro to Costa Rica
Our first day spent on the La Fortuna Full Day was great introduction to Costa Rica for our teenagers. We had been to C.R. once before without the children and this tour was their first glimpse at this speactacular country. It was a long day, but a great education, and a comfortable (bus was clean and comforable) way to see 3 of the top attractions in La Fortuna in 1 Day. We espectially enjoyed the many hanging bridges, although not nearly as many animals as we'd expectated. Tour guide did stop on the side of the road to show us a sloth up in a tree.

Great first experience
Amazing experience! First time is Costa Rica you are bombarded exiting with Airport with what it seems like hundreds of people asking you do you need a taxi. I'm thankful I booked ahead but I also enjoyed the easy texting and what app follow ups. Our flight was delayed for almost one hour we communicated and they adjusted. Nickson was our driver he called us to confirm location and was super friendly, my GF was nervous about the 3 hour drive at night be be explained everything about the curvy road and took it easy on the speed bumps. When we comeback definitely booking again!
