Sung Sot cave was found by the French in 1901, they discovered this cave and named it "La Grotte des Surprises" for its beauty and majesty in the cave. Very good Tour operator
La Casta Cruise was not operating that day so the Tour operator substituted it with Amethyst cruise. We had a marvelous time.

A wonderful way to see the amazing Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay is a must see for anyone visiting Vietnam. The 1000+ stone pillars/islands that shoot straight up into the sky are amazing! The La Casta day cruise took us up close to see these marvels and to hike into one of the caves. There was also an opportunity to kayak, swim at a small beach, and/or just relax on the boat. The boat was comfortable and the lunch was good. The two day cruise where you sleep on the boat overnight would have offered more time at each of these activities but we preferred sleeping at one of the many hotels in Ha Long. The only word of caution is that this particular ship and itinerary would be difficult for someone who has trouble with walking/hiking.

Highly recommend this tour for family.
Great experience. The tour guide is friendly, humorous, take good pictures for us and really helpful. All the staffs on the cruise are professional and they take care us from the beginning of the trip to the end. Food was amazing. We had visited many breathtaking views of Ha Long bay.
