No Show

I booked this tour based on previous reviews. But no one showed up. I contacted the tour operator a few hours early to confirm then waited at the time of the tour. Viator tried to contact but no response.

Wonderful

Our tour guide was gracious with our travel timing issues. He communicated well and ensured we didn’t miss anything. Our stop for coffee tasting was a pleasant surprise. You could tell that Daniel really loves Colombia and his pride is apparent. I’m thankful he was our guide and I would absolutely tour with him again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Evening in La Candelaria!

We spent our first night in Colombia with Condor Tours, guided by Daniel and Luis, and they truly couldn’t have given us a better welcome. From the very beginning, Daniel was our communication man, always checking in, answering every question, and making everything feel easy and smooth. He was also our driver on the way back, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and well taken care of. Luis was our guide through the La Candelaria district, and he was absolutely wonderful. He shared so much history, culture, and insight with us, and you could feel how much he loves what he does. Both of us were running late because of the traffic, but it ended up working out perfectly. The timing aligned, the energy was good, and the whole evening flowed so naturally. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. At the end of the night, Daniel even stopped so we could grab a late bite at a local Colombian restaurant, which we really appreciated. We honestly couldn’t have been happier. The communication, the knowledge, the friendliness, and the genuine care they showed made our very first evening in Colombia feel special. It was the perfect beginning to our trip. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend their services to anyone visiting Bogotá.

100% recomendado

This tour will immediately make you feel connected to Bogotá in a way you could never experience it by roaming the streets by yourself. Daniel, an artist himself, is very knowledgeable when it comes to historic background of the amazing street art and made our almost 3 hour tour feel very entertaining. He included a local food market where we could taste coffee, fruits and chocolate of small local farmers. He ended the tour in a gallery/shop/café where you can purchase some of the art seen in the streets and had lots of recommendations for other activities, too. Absolutely recommended!

Response from the operator: We're glad to read about your experiences with Daniel! We always want to give a passionate and authentic experiences. Thanks You and welcome.

La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bogotá.

How much does La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr cost?

+

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bogotá usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bogotá is not rushed.

Is La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bogotá, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bogotá can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bogotá and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does La Candelaria Walking Tour Bogota 3Hr start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bogotá within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bogotá?

+

On Outty we rank every Bogotá experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private City Tour Bogota + Monserrate, Gold, Botero and Candelaria., Free Graffiti Walking Tour Every Day in Bogota, Viejo Bogota Food Tour with 12+ Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bogotá?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bogotá?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
