A Wonderful Kyoto Experience with Kaori-san
We had an amazing tour with Kaori-san. I joined this tour with my family (2 adults and 3 children). I lived in Japan for 14 years and had visited Kyoto several times, but Kaori explained many things I didn't know in a way that was easy to understand for both adults and my three daughters. The tour included beautiful, must-see temples in Kyoto, and she took us to areas within the temples that were less crowded and more frequented by locals. The timing of the tour was excellent as well, since we started after lunch and ended in the Gion area where, with a bit of luck, you can spot a Geiko san and enjoy the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this tour and Kaori-san as a guide.

Very good!
Yoshi was such a great guide! Such a nice guy and very informative! The tour was great and we got to see a lot of Kyoto on our first day, especially in regards to the shrines and temples. Great!

First Time in Kyoto.
Kaori-san gave an amazing tour. Making sure we were prepared for the train and taxi ride the whole time. She explained a lot of the history of the shrines and temples we visited, as well as the stories behind places and paintings. We weren’t prepared for the sun and she was kind enough to bring 3 sun umbrellas for us. We ended the tour with some shopping where she showed us what was a specialty of Kyoto. Thank you very much for the tour!

Best Tour in Kyoto!
Kaori went above and beyond our expectations for the private tour of the hidden jems tour in Kyoto! The love that Kaori showed us about Kyoto shined through her explanations and she was so humble and patient. We never felt rushed and spent the perfect amount of time at each location we visited. Kaori was extremely knowledgeable about Japanese and Kyoto culture and traditions and showed us her love of the country. Kaori was so hospitable and she is your friend by the end of the tour! She even had an extra umbrella for us when it started raining. Kaori is a beautiful person and the best tour guide you will ever have! Thank you Kaori! We had a wonderful time on our tour yesterday!

Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kyoto.
How much does Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems cost?
+
Prices start at $36000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kyoto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kyoto is not rushed.
Is Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kyoto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kyoto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kyoto and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kyoto 6h Private Tour Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Gion & Hidden Gems start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kyoto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kyoto?
+
On Outty we rank every Kyoto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kyoto : Gion Make Your Own Chopsticks with Engraving Option, Award-Winning Authentic Ramen Making Experience in Kyoto, Hidden Kyoto E-Biking tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kyoto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kyoto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
