A priceless experience and "one for the books."

The young lady who helped me and my wife dressed us up so well was very well spoken and quite friendly (she stated she's a 3rd generation owner of the store). Hats off to her for making us look so traditionally dressed in Kimonos; it was priceless and worth every penny. The experience is "one for the books."

    Unforgettable experience!

Momoka provided such a beautiful selection of kimonos to choose from, complete with all the accessories and adornments. I felt truly styled and received so many compliments while capturing amazing photos in the heart of Gion, Kyoto. This experience was truly one of a kind and it doesn’t get much better than this while visiting Japan. I’m so grateful for the memories created and the overall experience. Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of my trip and simply unforgettable.

    Amazingly kind and beautiful kimonos

Such incredible courtesy and kindness, the woman who helped my three daughters here was amazing. She was patient, kind, and made them each feel beautiful. My daughters are very tall and have extremely curly hair, but they felt just like anyone else and she took extreme care to treat them like princesses. This experience was so much fun for my daughters and worth every cent. The kimono options were beautiful!

What should I bring or wear?

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kyoto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
