    A must see!

Great trip! We were picked up at our hotel at 12:15 and got into Kutna Hora around 1:30. We went into three different cathedrals, including the Sedlec Ossuary. We were given an hour of free time around 4pm to get food or walk around the town square. We ate at a pizza place that was delicious! We arrived back to Prague at 6:30pm. They will drop you off at a centralized meeting point. Other people in our group were a little surprised, but it’s clearly stated in the “meeting/drop off” section on TripAdvisor. I suppose most people just don’t pay attention. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. His English was fine. My only note is that he spoke very fast; and with his accent it was hard to understand everything he was saying. Overall, great time!

    Kunta Hory

We just returned from our tour to Kunta Hory. Our tour was a small group the sights were a little far apart from each other but we were transported from one to the other which was easier .Our driver Martin and guide Veronica were fantastic, pleasant and knowledgeable. The Ossarary was interesting, Veronica’s explanation of its history was interesting. The Cathedral of St. Barbara was special and again our guide was very informative. I would recommend this tour company .

Response from the operator: Dear guest, thank you for your positive review, we are glad you had a great time! -Astrid

Worst trip to Kutna Hora with the company ‘Best tours’ from Prague

Started off ok with pick up from hotel on time, transferred to another larger bus which had no proper air conditioning as stated as included. Weather was 24 degrees Celsius outside but inside bus was an extremely uncomfortable 38c. Most of the group complained but were told that there was nothing that could be done and that ac was on. (I actually felt sick at one stage). Itinerary stated admission to 2 Cathedrals for 1 hour each and 45 mins in Ossuary Sedlec(bone church). We had a good amount of time in St Barbara’s Cathedral but only about 10 mins in the bone church (very disappointing ) and we didn’t visit the Cathedral of Assumption of our lady and St John the Baptist at all. The tour guides English was quite hard to understand and most of the information was given before the visit on the bus which was very hard to hear. Little or no information was given inside sites and there was no information given as to visit time frames. You had to be vigilant to keep an eye out as she would just start walking off without saying anything or making sure all our group was accounted for. Driver seemed very rude and unaccommodating with the ac situation also. Was an equally hot uncomfortable ride back. Hotel drops offs were not offered even though our itinerary stated that hotel pick up and drop off were included (we were dropped off 1.5 km from hotel and told to find/ pay own way). I queried guide and showed her my itinerary which was dismissed saying that the bus could not drive to our hotel even though we have been travelling on a coach twice the size without any trouble. I also bought up the missed Cathedral and again showed her the itinerary copy on my phone and she just dismissed me saying that she had never been there on previous tours. I said that it was falsely advertised and that it should be reported back to the company. It’s quite an expensive tour without all these inclusions. I never like to put in a negative review and like to support local companies but I don’t want fellow travellers to have the same experience. I have requested a partial refund.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, we are sorry to hear about your bad experience. All our buses are equipped with functioning ac, therefore it is surprising to hear it was not operating properly. We are also sorry to hear that our guide did not manage the situation well, we have gone over it with her to make sure, she is better prepaired for other tours. Concerning the drop off, we do not advertise or offer drop off services for any tours outside of Prague and it can be found on the website in the tour description. Kind regards, Astrid

    Kutna Hora Excellent Tour

This was a 6 hr tour of Kutnà Hora and the Bone Church. The driver picked me at my hotel. There was also a French couple, and 3 Americans. Our guide was patient, humorous and very knowledgeable. He basically talked for 5-6 hrs straight. He would spend 10 minutes in English and then switch to fluent French to repeat the same info. Multi-lingual guides are usually barely passable in the second or 3rd language. Our guide pleased the French people which means he was very good. I didn't get his name but he is a character. He started way back in the middle ages and told history spanning well over 1000 yrs. Fascinating stuff and he kept it all straight in multiple languages. I really enjoyed him. We visited the cathedral of St. Barbara which was beautiful. Another cathedral is under restoration. Fascinating to see the work being done: plaster, brick n stucco. Sedlec Ossuary contains 40k human bones. I was concerned that some past ruler had killed all those people. Most were lost during the Plague. Very strange place and well worth seeing. Small intimate group of 6. All questions were answered in both languages. I had an excellent day.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, thank you so much for such an extensive and positive review, we are glad you had a great time. Hope to see you again some time in the future!

Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 129 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions?

    +

Around 45 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour with Bone Church Admissions start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
