Michael's Magnificent Master Class and Sight Being

Kutna Hora and Ossuary with Mighty Michael Stanislav was truly one of a kind experience. There are tours and guides and then there is Michael! We were transported literally and figuratively from the lobby of our hotel to the majestic county side of Olde World Bohemia. Michael has deep intricate knowledge of the country, town, shoppes, churches and local cuisine. It's not just sight seeing it's sight BEING. The medieval and Renaissance art work architecture and history comes to life through the words and storytelling by Michael. I was positively spellbound by St. Barbara's Cathedral, it's historic art collection as well as interior walls feature remarkably preserved, late-Gothic frescoes that depict the daily secular life of medieval miners and coin minters, in addition to the religious martyrdoms one would typically expect. The vaulted ceiling is gasp worthy a testimony to the wealth, engineering and artistic abilities of Bohemia. Michael turned us on to the exceptionally good local chocolate made by the nuns in various flavors. I will be ordering more for client baskets. The sacred Bone Church was nothing like I imagined. Steeped in folklore, tradition and true honoring of those who have passed; it is a rich tribute to life and death and the legacy we all leave on earth. The well curated local lunch fare far exceeded all expectations. A quaint restaurant and tavern that leads to a darling rose garden with spectacular views of both the magnificent Church of St. James and The stunning architectural triumph; The Corpus Christi Chapel. Complete with its gardens and Kings walk from town. Michael regaled us with the intention and origins of the massive undertaking with iterations over hundreds of years. I absolutely cannot wait to take our next tour with Michael in Vienna! I booked with THE BEST with Winspire and Michael Stanislav a true Czech countryman. 🇨🇿

    The Perfect Introduction to Prague!

We had a fantastic experience with Real Prague Tours! Our goal was much different from a typical tour. My great-grandparents emigrated from the Czech Republic to the US, and I wanted to visit my ancestral village of Újezdec to see the home where my family once lived. Real Prague Tours worked with us to create a customized day that exceeded every expectation! Our guide Michal was knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about Czech history and culture. He handled all logistics and helped us navigate the language barrier with ease. Having a local expert made what could have been a complicated trip completely stress-free. The highlight of the day was visiting the tiny village where my ancestors lived. Standing in front of the family property and seeing the area where my family's story began was an unforgettable experience. Without Real Prague Tours, this simply would not have been possible. Throughout the day, we never felt rushed. Michal was well-organized but flexible, allowing us to spend extra time at locations that were especially meaningful. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to tailor the experience to our interests made all the difference. If you're looking for a personalized tour of Prague or want to explore your Czech family heritage, I recommend Real Prague Tours without hesitation!

    Wonderful guide!

Michal is an absolutely fabulous guide! He was timely, flexible, very friendly, looked out for our every concern - we have somewhat complicated food requirements - took us to a lovely restaurant, and was throughout the most interesting guide we have ever had: we wound up learning a huge amount about life in the Czech republic and discussing all sorts of other things as well.

Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat cost?

    +

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kutna Hora Private day trip from Prague with lunch, admission and local treat start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
