An enjoyable day travelling outside of Prague
This was a lovely day out but finding the meeting place was a challenge. The link to google maps that Viator provided took you to the car park across the road from the railway station which is incorrect. After standing around and not seeing anyone for 10-15 minutes, I reread the entire message and found that the meeting place was in the station. On arrival at the correct meeting place I found that others had als been directed to the car park. Our guide was knowledgeable and managed train rides, entries and lunch effortlessly. It was a little rushed at the beginning getting us all on board and in our seats and he raced ahead talking to those who could keep up, but once everyone was on board and seated, the rest of the day was at a pace where everyone was looked after and no-one left behind.

Beautiful and charming
Kutna Hora is definitely worth the trip. Must see the cathedral and Ossuary. Just be prepared that they are separated by several kilometers with each occupying one side to of the town. Additionally, the town has several nice shops and restaurants so plan sufficient time to make a complete visit.

Poor organisation
Very friendly guide Sarah. Church closed because of a wedding. The organisation did not know this. Do they even prepare their tours? So, 2 x 1 hour in the bus to visit 1 small bone church during max. 30 minutes. Waste of money.

Too much money for such a poor tour
It is overpriced. The ossuary isn’t anything amazing. The town itself is just boring. You can spare those 60€ for something else.

Nice Tour
The bone church was certainly unique, it is quite small so it does not take long to visit. The other churches we went too were also stunning and we learned lots of interesting facts from our tour guide.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 404 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague?
+
Around 141 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kutna Hora Day Tour Including Sedlec Ossuary from Prague start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
