Great visit to KL and the Batu Caves

Our driver, Israith was very good - he arrived early and was an excellent driver. He was also flexible on what we wanted to see. KL and the Batu Caves were worth visiting, even though it was about 1hr 20 mins from the cruise ship terminal. The batik making process was interesting, Seeing the Twin Towers was one thing we also really wanted to see, as well as the KL Tower. We liked the flexibility of this tour option and the fact that we weren’t on a cruise ship tour, with lots of other passengers, who were on a pre-scheduled timeline.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed your trip with our driver. We look forward to seeing you again.

Worth visiting KL and the Batu Caves with our driver, who was very good.

Our driver, Israth was very good. He arrived early for the pick up and was flexible in what we chose to do. He was an excellent driver too! We visited KL city and its main attractions, as well as Batu Caves (which were well worth visiting) and a batik making shop. It was interesting to see the process of how the batik handicraft was created, however we chose not to buy a shirt or sarong. Seeing the Twin Towers and KL tower’s height and structure was worth the 1hr 20 mins from the cruise terminal to KL. We particularly liked that with our chosen option, we had an air conditioned car and were the only travellers. We were also able to opt out of seeing some of the attractions and could complete what we wanted to see in 4 hours, rather than 6, as it was very hot outside.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed your trip with our driver. We look forward to seeing you again.

Relax and see the sights

The tour guide picked us up from the port (we were on a cruise) and drove us to and around Kuala Lumpur. He was friendly and happy to adjust the tour to our preferences. He even gave us an umbrella when the heavens opened 😅 we saw most of the main sights and were very happy with our experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind rating and thoughtful feedback. We’re truly pleased to hear that you had a pleasant experience with our service during your cruise stop. It’s always our priority to ensure our guests feel comfortable and enjoy a flexible tour based on their preferences, and we’re glad our guide was able to accommodate your needs throughout the journey. We sincerely appreciate your support and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. 😊

Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.

How much does Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.

Is Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kuala Lumpur Cruise Excursion Top Attractions Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
