This was a great day trip...

This was a great day trip for our group of 14. We had two minibuses with friendly and helpful driver-guides at our disposal. Before the trip, we received operational information about the details of the trip. The entire trip was well prepared and organized. Konrad's interesting introductions testified to his in-depth knowledge and respect for the local culture. We got to know the unique log cabin area and the work of a local carpenter, and were served local cheese baked on a live fire with cranberry jam and mulled wine. In Zakopane, we could enjoy fantastic views of the snowy mountains. The culmination of the trip was a couple of hours of bathing in the thermal pools. The whole group was very satisfied with the trip. Many thanks to the tour guides! We definitely recommend it to anyone interested!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that your group of 14 had such a great day with us. It was a pleasure to have you on the tour! We’re especially happy that you enjoyed the local culture, the traditional wooden houses, the visit to the carpenter, and of course the oscypek cheese by the fire with cranberry jam and mulled wine. We’re glad the snowy views of Zakopane and relaxing time in the thermal pools made the day even more special. Thank you also for appreciating the organization and the knowledge of our driver-guides. Your kind words mean a lot to the whole team, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you and your group back to the mountains again someday! ⛰️😊

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Do Day Trip from Kraków!

We had an amazing day on the Zakopane and thermal baths tour. Everything was really well organised from start to finish, and the scenery in the mountains was absolutely stunning. Karina was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. We learned so much about the area without it ever feeling like a history lesson. She really made the day extra special. Zakopane itself was beautiful, the views from Gubałówka were incredible, and the thermal baths were the perfect way to relax. If you’re considering it, definitely add the snowmobiles — such a fun experience and totally worth it! Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kraków. A brilliant day out!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed every part of the Zakopane and thermal baths tour—from the stunning mountain scenery and Gubałówka views to the snowmobiles and relaxing baths. Karina will be delighted to know she made the experience fun and engaging for you. Your recommendation means a lot, and we hope to welcome you again on another memorable adventure! ❄️😊

    10/10 full day varied scenictour

We had a lovely full day. Paul our excellent driver and sweet Karina our superb guide, made it fun so we didn't get bored. Saw so much, walked alot to the funicular but so many stalls along the way to pass the time. Lovely cheese testing and resting our legs at the end in the pools with a cocktail was just what we needed Happily recommend, couldn't have been any better.

Paul and Karina will be thrilled to know they helped make the experience fun and engaging throughout. It’s great to hear you enjoyed seeing so much, exploring the stalls along the way, tasting the local cheese, and finally relaxing in the pools with a cocktail — the perfect way to end the day! Thank you for the happy recommendation. We truly appreciate it and hope to welcome you back again soon!

    "A must go" trip!

Amazing experience. Loads of history about the wooden village. A cable car trip up the mountain was truly awesome. Panaromic view at the top of the mountain is outstanding especially with the snow. A visit to thermal pools was a lovely ending to the trip. Definitely will be coming back.

Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Krakow to Zakopane and Thermal Baths Shared Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
