A good visit to Bochnia salt mine
Christophe the guide was excellent and looked after us professionally. The tour itself I thought was a little on the long side and the 30 break near the end seemed to drag it out. It was good to experience the train and boat and to see some of the equipment that was used over the hundreds of years but once you have seen some of the mine workings then it tends to repeat

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
