SCAM DONT BOOK
THIS TRIP IS A SCAM DO NOT BOOK IT!! I voiced my concens twice to TripAdvisor as I knew something was off but they reassured me it was all legitimate. Tried to contact the tour operator on multiple occasions via email phone and via TripAdvisor. Had absolutely no luck. £686 took from my account, and they never arrived. We were a group of 9 people standing waiting on the street from 7.45am. When I called the tour operator, all I got was a man coughing and then silence. I then called TripAdvisor, who said they will mark my trip as a no show and request a refund from the tour operator. Good luck with that they don't answer phone calls or emails Prior to the trip I contacted TripAdvisor 3 times and 3 times I was told they could not reach the tour operator by phone but would email them . I'm still waiting on a response Ended up having to rebook via get your guide . I received an instant confirmation and tickets. Then a watsapp confirming all the details pick up point contact number etc so my advice is to use them. I however have had to pay for the same trip twice while I wait for my refund ( which to be honest I'm not very optimistic about

Terrible organization, planning, and communication
This tour was completely disorganized and not at all as described in the listing. We booked this private experience expecting a thoughtful, guided cultural journey with six unique stops and clear communication. What we got was confusing, rushed, and incredibly frustrating. We never visited the first two advertised towns—Chochołów and Witów. Instead of the promised cultural Oscypek cheese tasting, we stopped at a roadside stand, though we were told it was Witow, you can clearly see how very far we were from that location in the screen shot. This was very was underwhelming and not what we paid for. We received no advance communication about what to bring, despite me asking the night before for additional information as you can see in the screen shot. We then had to buy towels and water shoes for the spa on-site for the thermal baths. There was no guided commentary. We were simply driven and dropped off with no explanations, no cultural or historical context, and no sense of flow. This was supposed to be a private, premium tour, and we were left to fend for ourselves. The day was poorly timed. We arrived at some locations too early, meaning we couldn't eat lunch where expected, and many shops were still closed, and had to choose between food or continuing the tour. We were offered additional time in Zakapone, but at the cost of other stops. (Which we didn’t get to go to anyways.) Our driver hadn’t even been given the itinerary and had me send it to him. He was confused and unprepared. We were told in advance that he would "know everything"—but he didn’t. You can tell he was expecting to simply be a driver, not a tour guide. We were told we had to purchase our own tickets for the funicular and spa upon arrival, though it was supposed to be included in the price. Although the tickets were eventually purchased, it was only after considerable confusion and stress, both for us and for the driver. We were offered a free airport transfer as an apology, but we already had a taxi booked for less than $10 USD, making the gesture unhelpful. To be clear: our driver, Michael, was incredibly kind and did his best to make the experience better. This was not his fault—it was the tour company’s failure to prepare him or us for what should have been a relaxing and cultural day. The day I was most looking forward to on my trip and ended up being a total bust. I say this with empathy, as we were told our original driver had an accident and that our new driver hadn’t gotten the full schedule which is why there were errors— however, despite our asking for information, there was no communication, no updated itinerary for us, and all in all felt as though they were making excuses for their poor execution and planning. I do not recommend booking this tour unless major changes are made in how it's organized and delivered. We paid for a private, curated experience and got confusion, poor planning, and minimal value in return.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kraków to Zakopane Private Luxury Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
