Stunning location let down by security & service issues
Konoko Falls has so much potential. The natural setting is a real gem — lush, scenic, and peaceful. We had a wonderful time for most of our visit and the phone team who handled our booking was superb. Sadly, the experience fell apart. In-person customer service was inconsistent, with some staff interactions that were poor. Most seriously, our group experienced a mishap that left a bad taste in our mouths with security. This place could be 5 stars with some work. Until then, I can only recommend with caution: enjoy the beauty, but remain very vigilant.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the natural beauty of Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden and that our reservations team provided you with excellent service. We're genuinely sorry to learn that your visit was affected by inconsistent customer service at the attraction and, in particular, by the incident involving security. While these aspects are managed by the attraction itself and are outside of El Sol Vida's direct control, we understand how they can significantly impact the overall experience. Your feedback is valuable, and with your permission we would be happy to share it with the attraction's management, as constructive comments like yours help encourage improvements. We appreciate your balanced review and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with another memorable Jamaican experience in the future.

Thanks, Kenroy and Naldi
We weren't sure we could get up the falls, but the grio is better than you expect, there are some footholds cut at strategic places, and most importantly, our guide Kenroy helped us any time we needed. Naldi was our guide on the trail and he knows a lot.

Super fun
During our vacation we decided to take a tour of Konoko Falls and garden. We learned about the indigenous animals and plants of the island. The falls was a bit intimidating. We had to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the bottom. We were accompanied by three young strong and amusing guides that made the journey go by smoothly. I wouldn’t have made it up without them.

Best secret in Ocho & thank you Kenroy
We have visited Ocho many times and have visited every attraction in the area - Konoko is, by far, our new favorite. It’s better and must less crowded than Dunns with much more to see and experience (the animals are amazing!) with more attentive guides.we BSCI ally had the gardens and falls to ourselves, and took all the time we wanted! The gardens, animals, and falls are worth every minute and every penny. April and Kenroy were wonderful guides! If you see Kenroy, please tell him thank you from his Minnesota friends. My son hurt himself at the falls (his fault, not the falls which are very safe) but Kenroy was EXTREMELY attentive, caring, and patient. He got a nurse and stayed with us all the way through our departure. Any other guide would have rushed to be a guide for the next family once we got to the nurse, but not Kenroy. His caring and attentiveness were so greatly appreciated, we were completely impressed. We are grateful and can’t wait to return!

Best experience!
This was nothing short of amazing! Kenroy was a great guide. I regret not putting money in our things to tip him. He not only helped us during the climb but he made sure to take photos of our experience with our phones. Thanks Kenroy!

Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ocho Rios.
How much does Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios cost?
+
Prices start at $56 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ocho Rios usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ocho Rios is not rushed.
Is Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ocho Rios, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ocho Rios can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ocho Rios and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden Tour from Ocho Rios start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ocho Rios within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ocho Rios?
+
On Outty we rank every Ocho Rios experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Hole only-from Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Tour, Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls Tour with Lunch and Cocktails at Reggae Hill. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ocho Rios?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ocho Rios?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
