Interesting and intimate wine tasting experience
A lovely way to spend the afternoon - Mislav our driver was super knowledgeable about Croatian history. Ivo, the winery owner, was extremely welcoming and happy to answer all our questions. The food and wine were excellent, as were the views. And a short visit to Cavtat was the perfect way to round it all off.

Lovely local winery
A very enjoyable afternoon. There were only two of up, but we got on really well. Light lunch maybe stretching it as we only got there around 4.15, but there was a lovely platter of local meats and cheeses for us. The winery has been in the family for centuries and is in a charming area. We tasted five wines and then a wine liqueur, all of which were very palatable. Our trip following this was into a lovely little town called Cavtat, but we actually had very little time there as we had over run our time at the winery. We would have preferred to get home a little later and had a longer time there, but all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon/evening.

Great wine tasting!
Plenty of lovely, wine and food, pick up easy. Take cash if you would like to buy some wine to take home. Great guide who gave us lots of information. A nice hour spent in Cavtat enroute back.

Delightful late afternoon in the countryside
Very good late afternoon-to-evening excursion. Mislav is a calm driver and a good thoughtful talker. He shared personal and historic info and advice on the place he loves. We were picked up a block from our holiday apartment. The drive is quite attractive, good views of the countryside. The winery is in a lovely valley and we were served by the vintner. we didn’t tour the vineyard though we did have lovely views and were right next to the grapes on the vine in a comfortable tasting room. Light food was served including meat cured on site by the owner. Fairly generous pours and refills. Good conversations about the history of the winery and the current state of the wine industry in Konavle, and in Croatia overall. All the wine is good and from a small maker, so you can’t get it outside of Croatia, which made for a singular experience. If you want to purchase bottles, note that you’ll have to bring cash, they don’t take credit cards. After about 90 minutes at the winery, we went on to the seaside town of Cavtat and spent just under an hour, we had ice cream and people-watched at the small port on a really lovely evening, there’s also restaurants, bars and shopping, and we could have done a very short hike to a nearby mausoleum on a hill as well.

Winery tour
Good tour content and not rushed. Good communication and pick up. Milas the driver was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ivor and his wife the winery owners were friendly and interesting. The tour size, just four people, was perfect and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 116 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch?
+
Around 41 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Konavle Valley Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik with Light Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
