The Secret Garden,or Tannins Waterfall otherwise known as the Magic Garden or Secret Buddha Garden can be found in the hills of Koh Samui and was built by a local Samui fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk, starting it in 1976 when he was 77 years old. The Secret Garden is a beautiful landscaped garden featuring flowers and trees native to Koh Samui and Thailand and many Buddha statues with different meanings arranged in scenarios representing different ideals, which your tour guide will explain to you. Winding through the garden is is a little stream and a series of miniature waterfalls. The only way to get there is through the jungle, rivers and mountains by 4×4. The roads leading through the hills is impressive but stick to the main road, it can be interesting turning

Disappointed
To be correct I have to mention that the objectives in this tour are nice. My advise is to be careful when you choose the company which organize this tour...mine cancelled the tour in the evening before around 9 PM . Another advise...their cars are open and probably crowd behind...keep in mind that you probably spend around 6/7 hours in the sun at 35 degree Celsius.
Response from the operator: First of all, you did not make the reservation for this trip with us :) But, thanks for your comment. I have just checked with the Tour Operator about your record. As you did not make the booking with us, that's why I could not found your booking history at all. (If you have booked with us, you will get an email and booking confirmed from TripAdvisor.) But your booking that you gave comment to me, you have booked with your hotel staff at The Pavilion Hotel in Lamai, right? And after that, the hotel staff just informed you that the tour was cancelled , correct? I found that during now got effect with covid 19 many advance booking is canceled and during that day, the company called to your hotel for amend your booking to another day. But you did not accepted the amendment. we do apologize for your experience you may have and we wish you still enjoy your holiday in Koh Samui. Now, you are understand. You are NOT make the booking with us. Nice to meet you, anyway. All the best!

adventurous jungle tour
I was suprised that on the stops we made it wasn‘t as crowded as I expected. We went to the jungle and two person had the opportunity to sit on the roof (you’re always belted). Our guide was very entertaining and we never got bored. The drive was very bumpy so it is not recommended for people with back injuries or elederly people. The lunch was good with different Thaifood meals. But the restaurant itself the infinity pool and the view was not outstanding. The waterfall is nice to look at but you won‘t spend a lot of time there. Last but not least we went to the grandfather & grandmother rocks. The water there is very clear but we were told that there are a lot of jellyfish so you better don‘t go swimming. We also tried „the best coconut icecream“ which was very delicious. All things considered it was a really nice day and we enjoyed every part of it. The adventurous ride and the funny guide really gave the tour some extra points. Thanks again! :)
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your comment. We are happy to hear that you have a great time and a great travel experience. Thanks again.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.
How much does Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.
Is Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Koh Samui: Full-Day Koh Samui 4x4 Jungle Adventure with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?
+
On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Koh Samui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
