    Incredible

We had two incredible excursions and an experience we will never forget. On the first day, we visited a Kogui community. Our native guide was exceptional. He took us on a hike of approximately two hours, shared water and fruits with us, explained the culture and traditions of his community, showed us medicinal plants, and performed a very special small ceremony. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and the natural surroundings were spectacular. Additionally, the food was delicious. It was an authentic, educational, and deeply enriching experience. On the second day, we went on a horseback ride that was also wonderful. The guide was very kind and attentive at all times. The horses were in excellent condition, calm, and very well cared for. The landscape was stunning, filled with vegetation and spectacular views. We also had the opportunity to stop at the beach to take photographs and enjoy the surroundings. It was a relaxing and fun experience. We recommend both excursions 100%. The organization, the guides, the nature, and the opportunity to learn more about the local culture made these two days unforgettable. Thank you very much for such special experiences! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing Tierra Nativa for both of your adventures! It means a great deal to us that you enjoyed your visit to the Kogui community and your horseback riding experience. Sharing the traditions, ancestral knowledge, medicinal plants, and the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada is at the heart of what we do, and we are grateful that these moments were meaningful to you. We are also delighted that you appreciated the care of our horses, the breathtaking landscapes, and the opportunity to experience both the rainforest and Playa Los Naranjos. Your kind words about our guides and the organization of the tours truly encourage our entire team. Thank you for your trust and for recommending both experiences. We hope to welcome you back one day to discover even more of the magic, culture, and nature of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Warm regards, Juan David & the Tierra Nativa Team 🌿🐎

    It was a small-life experience

When I came back from the trip, I felt like “wow, what was that?!” It felt like I lived a whole small life within those two days. Juan David is friendly, attentive, knowledgable guid, I felt very comfortable during the trip with him, he supports, tells a lot about things around the trip: like birds when you see them, animals, food, answers any questions, he shows a colourful life of people who live on the way to indians, makes the trip comfortable and stops for recreation when needed or asked, he is kind by himself and kind to other people around him, so I felt relaxed and enjoyed the whole road. Also the trip felt alive, there were adjustments to it on the way to and back, this gave me more excitement. Thank you Juan, it was very impressive experience! BTW it was our second trip with him and we are planning to do the third this weekend, so it’s also a good sign for those who’s reading it now and thinking about going on a trip with Juan.

Response from the operator: nos alegra mucho que disfrutaron del viaje esta fue una experiencia donde conocimos una gran parte de la sierra nevada y conocimos el poblado kogui compartiendo un intercambio cultural. la próxima experiencia sera también muy mágica.
