Amazing tour!
This tour was truly amazing. Roula, our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind (we had three children with us - 12, 8 and 4 years old). She made the methodology come to life and her sharing about the Cretan culture both historic and current was truly informative and insightful. Our driver, Antoni, made the whole drive super smooth. The tour itself was awesome, at each stop (7 in total) there was something new to learn, see and do.

Great full day out
It’s a very long day with a roughly 7:30 pick up and 7:30 drop off. What an amazing and effervescent host. Very bubbly and engaging and even came with her own soundtrack for the day. We got given these very cool headsets so we could hear her no matter where we were standing during the talks.

Soula , the queen of Greek myths and storytelling
Unfortunately 25 minutes into our trip we found out that the gates to Zeus’ cave were going to be closed by order of the government due to high heat and possible fires , we were given the option of either carrying on or getting our money back by our guide Soula , I’m so glad we decided to carry on as Soula added extra stops and made the experience one of the best we’ve ever had , she was informative and funny and engaging and really looked after us and our 7 year old granddaughter Florence , what a guide she is , unflappable and a joy to listen to her incredible storytelling , the trip was fantastic and we can’t rate her highly enough , our driver Nicos was also a real professional, an incredibly smooth ride through some tiny little villages , Thankyou Soula and Nicos for a fantastic experience x

Very worthwhile and a great value!
This was a great way to get a feel for the area given we only had a couple of days in Heraklion. Our guide Soula was fantastic and really made the sights come to life. The Cave of Zeus has beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations, and Soula’s telling of the mythology behind it made it more meaningful. Knossos is, of course, the highlight of any visit to Heraklion. The information Soula gave us in advance and during the guided tour added to the experience. Coming from downtown it took about an hour to pick up all the rest of the visitors from other hotels, but they put us in a minibus directly back downtown at the end, which we greatly appreciated.
