Inexperienced
Perhaps our expectations were high, but we thought the driver would add to the experience with some information. Instead, he was simply a transport between locations. He was not licensed to guide us in the gardens and didn’t know where to take us at the winery. We used precious time waiting for him to sort the issues with the reception areas at the locations. Also, lunch at the winery took 40 minutes for the kitchen to deliver even though they did not appear to be busy. We made the best of it by enjoying our company, but I was embarrassed to have trusted that the service would add to the experience rather than detract from it.
