Must do - amazing views
This is a must do attraction. The views of the city are amazing. Go early as its cooler with less people. It gives you a real sense of how big and sprawling Bangkok is. There are restaurants and cafes at the tower and refreshment kiosks at the top. Very clean, modern with friendly staff. Walking on the glass is quite an experience and you can get some wonderful photos. Look out for the discount prices for children and those of 60 years old (half price). Just a word of caution, if you go by taxi and the driver offers to buy your tickets, don't let him, it will cost you more and he gets a cut....the price is 1000, and 500 discount for young & seniors. Enjoy the stunning views x

Amazing
Pre booked tickets. The whole journey to the top has been well considered and is super smooth. You get to the top and there is plenty of space to take pictures Once you're outside, again lots of space to wonder around. Skywalk is cool and get fun. Watch the sunset. Go to the top and stand to left side

We went to King Power Mahanakhon in the afternoon at around 4:45 pm and it was only slightly raining. Registration: When we first walked into the King Power Mahanakhon building at the entrance they check your bag. As we purchased our tickets in advance a lady staff told us to wait in line. As we were walking towards the elevator we were told by a male staff that our bags are not allowed upstairs and needed to put inside a locker. There was a locker section next to the elevator. To activate the lock we needed to input our phone numbers. Once that’s done they printed a ticket from the machine and gave it to me. After that we were allowed to go to the elevator section. Before going up the elevator we took two photos, which were taken by the staff. 74th Floor Observation Deck: Since it was slightly raining we were told that the 78th floor was closed. We were informed that the staff will let us know once it’s ok to go up to 78th floor. Once we reached the 74th floor we had some coffee at King Power Selection Café. We were lucky to find seats and take a rest while enjoying the view from the 74th floor. After looking at every section of the 74th floor we went to the toilet on the 75th floor. On the 75th floor other than the toilet there is the elevator which takes you to the 78th floor. We asked staff there if we could go up. They mentioned that it was still raining so we were not allowed upstairs. But there was no rain dropping on the windows so it was difficult to understand. Another staff named Mo kindly told us that she can take picture of us and send to security downstairs letting them know that we can come back up again after dinner as the weather wasn’t good. Mo told us that King Power Mahanakhon closes at 12 am. But we declined as we had other plans for dinner. We waited until 7:00 pm to go up to the 78th floor. But we were informed that it was still raining and we couldn’t go up to the 78th floor. Therefore, we decided to call it a day and went downstairs. When we walked out of the building it wasn't raining. That's why we find the staff there quite conservative.

Booked and ready to go only to have them cancel us going the day before with no reason given. Hoped for a refund but not to be, 4 months later and they still have not refunded our money.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $56 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does King Power MahaNakhon SkyWalk at Bangkok Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
