    Forgot our reservation

The trip itself was nice. Our driver (Taidgh I think) was very friendly and shared lots of lore along the way. We saw lots of nice sites as well. The main problem was that the booking company completely forgot us. The driver was supposed to pick us up at 9 am and we were to arrive in Galway by 5 pm. He didn’t show up, even though the trip was confirmed and paid for. I called the company and they had to try to find my reservation details, indicating that they had no clue what was going on. The driver eventually picked us up at 10:45. We learned that this is a common problem with this booking company lately. It caused us to arrive in Galway just before 7 pm which screwed up our evening plans. Very disappointing that they couldn’t even keep track of our reservation. I honestly feel like we should get a partial refund for this experience.

Response from the operator: I would like to apologise for the delay in picking you up which was completely my fault. I am happy that you enjoyed the tour & you still managed to see everything. I really regret any inconvenience I caused by delaying your arrival in Galway. You were a pleasure to travel with despite my late arrival & for that I sincerely thank you.

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Killarney and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Killarney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Killarney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
