A perfect day in ireland
This was such a fun and iconic Irish experience. I loved it and so did my daughter, the Killarney National apart is so beautiful with views of the lake on horseback.

We really enjoyed the...
We really enjoyed the horses. The guides were nice, but portions of the trail were shared with vehicles and joggers, so it wasn’t quite as peaceful and serene as I had imagined.
Response from the operator: Hi Angel We are delighted you enjoyed the horses and yes,, as this trail does go through the highly scenic Killarney National Park, it is open to the public to use too. So at times, we do share soem parts of the trail with other uses.

Great way to see Killarney Park
The staff was helpful and very nice. The horse was gentle. ,2 hours was a bit long for me, but I am 71 years old. I had a hard time dismounting. There was not much information/ discourse about the park...when the young girl did talk, she was in front and my son and I could not hear her. Overall, the ride was nice and it was a great way to see alot of this beautiful park.

Horseback ride in ireland
Horses are very settled and easy to handle. Because most of the horses on our ride were white and we rode through mud and water they appeared to be not groomed well. This is NOT the case as they ride the same route more than once daily and their legs understandably are muddy. Our guides were AWSOME and helped with anything and everything. Cudos to them! Well worth the price of admission!

Amazing Experience
This was such an amazing experience. Definitely arrive early to get set up with boots, helmet, and get matched with a horse. Set up takes a little while. The views were spectacular and the park is so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to others and do it again myself.

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 95 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Killarney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Killarney National Park Horseback Ride. Co Kerry. Guided. 2 hours.?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?

+
On Outty we rank every Killarney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Killarney National Park Tour, Full-Day Tour of the Dingle Peninsula, Slea Head, and Inch Beach, Ring Of Kerry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Killarney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Killarney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
