DOUBLE CHARGING THEIR CUSTOMERS

Be very careful when using promotions. In my case, a discounted amount was displayed during the checkout process and the promotional code was accepted by the website. The final amount shown before payment was AED 615. However, when the transaction was processed, my card was charged the FULL amount instead. What makes this even more frustrating is that the discounted amount displayed during checkout was witnessed by one of their own employees. Despite this, my request for a refund of the overcharged amount has been refused. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend taking screenshots of every step of the booking and payment process and checking your card statement immediately after payment. Very disappointing customer service and no resolution that should have been applied!

Please stay away from this experience via Royal smart tourism and Aviator!

This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had with both Aviator and Royal Smart Tourism. We bought a group ticket at least two months before the event, but when we arrived, our tickets weren’t accepted. The Kidzania staff claimed the tickets were never generated for us, only vouchers. We had to call Aviator (UK) and Royal Smart (UAE) while on roaming, and Aviator just told us to sort it out with Royal Smart. Royal Smart couldn’t “generate tickets” due to technical issues. It was incredibly frustrating, and we wasted so much time dealing with it as though it were our fault. Royal Smart had awful customer service, and Aviator showed no interest in helping. We lost two hours rejoining the queue to buy regular tickets directly from Kidzania. With four kids, it was a nightmare. On top of that, we had to bear extra costs for the roaming calls and new tickets. Both companies refused to cover the extra costs due to their inefficiency, hiding behind their terms and conditions, which basically meant zero accountability. I’d stick with GetYourGuide, which offers much better customer service. Avoid this at all costs—it’s practically a scam since they don’t issue usable tickets.

Highly recommend

Kidzania was absolutely brilliant 10/10 My 10 year old took a friend with her and we spent 7 hours jumping from activity to activity. We managed 21 activities as it was a Sunday and kidzania wasn’t busy. However my experience with viator was very very disappointing. They sent me a message the night before saying my booking has been cancelled. Luckily kidzania had available tickets on the day.

Kidzania - a must do!

I have never been to a place like it before, wish we had somewhere like this when I was younger! You walk into a ‘real life’ city where children work and complete activities to earn ‘money’ on a bank card! Jobs vary from window cleaning, shopping in a supermarket, CSI, fire brigade, hospital, postal couriers, dentist, the list goes on! Once you’ve had enough (we were there for 5 hours!), the child can ‘buy’ something from the shop with the money they’ve earnt on their bank card! Brilliant learning too!

It was okay that staff was not that friendly my son wanted to leave. People should not take jobs if they can’t deal with people.

KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.

How much does KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket cost?

+

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.

Is KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does KidZania Dubai Mall Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

+

On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
