Excellent way to keep my...

Excellent way to keep my kids (4,8,12) engaged. We had a lovely time walking and learning, and my kids looked for dragons for the rest of our trip.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your nice words! Let us know if you find dragons in any other cities ;) All the best, Bergith

BEST for young children

Our guide Melissa was FANTASTIC and this was a perfect way to introduce our 3 X pre teen children to a part of the city and it's rich history. Kids&Cat is the original OG tour of this kind and we'd highly recommend.

Response from the operator: I am so glad you all have enjoyed and Melissa was able to capture your pre-teens attention. We really love when everybody is happy! All the best, Bergith

Great time hunting dragons in the old town

We had a great time on this tour (Dragon tour); it brought the city down to scale for our 10 and 7 year old boys, and brought things to life for us in a way we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Our kids were enthralled during the tour (structured as a scavenger hunt), and said it was their favorite thing in Barcelona. Melissa, our guide, was able to connect well with the kiddos, while giving the adults a great intro into Barcelona. I definitely recommend it!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review, we are so happy your kids said it was thei rfavorit thing in Barcelona and you have also enjoyed!. Melissa says hello to you and the boys!! ;) All the best, Bergith

Chasing Dragons & Catalan History with Melissa

A wonderful active learning experience for our daughters with Melissa. Our guide Melissa was very patient and energetic with our 10 year-old daughter and our -year-old daughter as she had them learned to navigate the Gothic quarter with maps and a compass and wonderful kid appropriate versions of history through finding dragons. My wife and I found it a wonderful way to see parts of Barcelona we never would have on our own and enjoyed how Melissa empowered our daughters to feel confident in navigating a new city with maps and a compass in this day and age of Google maps GPS. I learned a lot about Barcelona and Catalan history from Melissa and would highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Melissa loved doing the tour with you, too!! I will make sure she rceives yur feedback! Wishing you a great day!

Wonderful experience with Kids & Cat!

We loved our street art tour with guide Ferran so much that we booked a second tour, the Dragon Tour, with co-owner Anna the next day. Both tours were interactive, educational and fun for the whole family - including our 12 yo twins and 14 yo son. Both guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. We would recommend to any families visiting Barcelona and wanting an experience different from the usual city and museum tour. Thank you Ferran and Anna!!

Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona cost?

+

Prices start at $169 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona?

+

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kids & Family Private Guided Dragon Tour in Barcelona start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
