If you'd like to feel like a real Georgian person, then try this experience!

If you are visiting Kutaisi and want to experience the soul of Georgia, look no further. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our host is a truly remarkable person; warm, genuine, and incredibly kind. He went above and beyond every single day, doing everything in his power to ensure our happiness and to make our stay the best possible experience we could imagine. It is rare to find someone so dedicated to their guests' well-being. The wine we tasted was absolutely extraordinary; rich, authentic, and easily some of the best we have ever had. Furthermore, the cooking class was a total highlight; it wasn't just a lesson, but a vibrant, educational, and deeply memorable experience that gave us a real taste of local traditions. This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a home away from home filled with laughter, amazing flavors, and world-class hospitality. I cannot recommend this host and his wonderful programs highly enough. We left with full hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for everything!

An Unforgettable Cultural and Culinary Journey in Kutaisi!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a traditional Georgian cooking and wine tasting masterclass in Kutaisi, and it was easily the highlight of my trip. The experience was much more than just a cooking lesson. We learned the intricate art of folding khinkali and the secrets to making the perfect, cheesy khachapuri. While we cooked, we learned about the deep history and unique traditions of Georgian viticulture. A special mention must go to Giorgi, who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He didn't just teach us recipes; he shared fascinating insights into Georgian culture and history that you won't find in guidebooks. A real highlight was tasting the wine that Giorgi produces himself, it was absolutely delicious and added such a personal, authentic touch to the whole experience. His passion made the entire atmosphere feel welcoming and authentic. If you are in Kutaisi and want to truly "taste" and understand Sakartvelo, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. 10/10! Madloba Nana and Giorgi!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your kind words. Todays class was amazing. Very interesting and happy to host you at my place.

    Great Cooking Class in Kutaisi

We had a wonderful experience at the khachapuri and khinkali workshop in Kutaisi. My partner and I joined the class and felt welcome from the very beginning. Giorgi and the woman accompanying him were incredibly kind, patient, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. We learned how to prepare traditional Georgian khachapuri and khinkali step by step, and everything was explained clearly, even for beginners. On top of that, we also had the chance to taste some of their local wines, which made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Kutaisi who wants to learn about Georgian food and culture in a hands-on way.

Response from the operator: We are Happy to create nice memories for our Guests. Always Welcome !

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kutaisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kutaisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
