    Troy of the Keys

Troy was great! He showed the sights and provided a wealth of information about the Keys. He tailored the day to our requests, which worked out perfectly for our group. He advised us what to do and where to go. Our day was so fun! Lots of great memories. We loved that we didn’t have to drive and deal with parking as well. Thanks to Troy. Very personable and funny!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this awesome review! It was a blast spending the day with your group and I’m really glad the mix of sightseeing, local tips, and not having to worry about driving or parking all hit the spot. Hearing that you made lots of great memories is exactly why I love doing these tours. Hope to see you back in the Keys for another adventure soon! Troy

Personalised and great value for money

We highly recommend this tour. Communication was excellent and easy pre tour and on the tour. When on the tour, Troy went out of his way to get to know us, and tailored the tour to cater to our interests, providing the best experience and enabling us to see things we would not have seen otherwise. We found the flexibility and tailored suggestions great - it was a unique and private experience with so much information provided - we learnt a lot about the area.

Response from the operator: I am so glad you enjoyed your tour! My goal is to make your experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible. I’m glad to have met you two! Thank you Troy

Top tour - highly recommended 👍

Private tour to the Keys I can only recommend! Our guide Troy, who is also the owner, took excellent care of us. The tour can be customized, which makes it very varied and personal. We had a wonderful time, and the tour was definitely worth it. Thumbs up! I would book them again anytime. He also has tips on where to eat and offers a selection of attractions depending on what you are interested in. Overall very pleasant and entertaining design.

Response from the operator: Thank you guys for the outstanding review. I really had a great time with you. I just wish we could’ve talked to girls into feeding the tarpon. 😜

Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys cost?

    +

Prices start at $169 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Key Largo/Islamorada to Key West Private Day Tour Florida Keys start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
