About this experience

We believe the Han River is the perfect place to enjoy both the calm of the morning and the most peaceful sunset in Seoul. Here, you’ll discover a hidden side of the city that even many locals have yet to find. Experience serene water activities surrounded by nature and quiet. Sunset on the river is magical, but mornings are just as special—calm, refreshing, and the perfect way to start your day. On hot summer days, a dip in the river is all you need to cool off, while paddling with views of landmarks like Lotte Tower and Namsan Tower all around you. I’m Koa, passionate about water sports and currently the only one offering water activities in English here. So don’t get me mixed up with anyone else! You’ll always be welcomed with a big smile and a warm greeting—probably the warmest you’ll find in Korea.

Great SUP board experience !

This is a great activity if you want a break from the busy city life in Seoul. I had a great time and it was nice being in the water. Koa is there to accommodate if there is anything and he took some great photos that I got sent after. Will definitely recommend coming here and I'll mostly likely go again myself!

Definitely would recommend to do in Seoul!

Koa was so lovely and friendly and welcoming. The trip was so fun and the scenery was amazing. It was so relaxing being able to stay on the water to watch the sunset.

Amazing photos and incredible freedom to explore

Koa is one of the greatest tour guides I've encountered in Korea. Not only was he on time, but throughout the activity he was inviting me to explore and go see the river on my own. The quality of the pictures he took was amazing and he made 3 trips to take different pictures of me in the river with different sights behind me (all pictures were taken with a professional camera). Honestly one of the best tours I've had on a Kayak, would highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm really happy you enjoyed the kayaking and the photos too. I always try my best to give everyone a great experience and some nice memories to take home. It was great meeting you, and I hope to see you again one day.

Having a fun day on Han river

This was a really fun day. I had pre-booked the SUP but on the day I asked if I could add wind surfing to my schedule and they were very flexible and accommodating. I got very good instructions and felt taken care of. Super friendly and helpful team. Very much recommend it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed the day and tried both SUP and windsurfing. It was fun having you here. Hope to see you again next time in Seoul! 😊🌊

Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul cost?

+

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul?

+

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kayaking & SUP Experience in Seoul start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
