A Fresh Perspective on Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle

I had a wonderful time exploring Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle on a beautiful sunny day! I’ve visited these places many times before, but I still learned so many new things thanks to our guide! I especially enjoyed learning about the meaning behind the name “Kenrokuen” and its history. At Kanazawa Castle, I was fascinated by the castle’s walls and the clever design of the gun loopholes. Our guide also introduced us to the different foods available at the tea houses in Kenrokuen, which made it much easier to decide what to try. Whenever something was difficult to understand in English, our guide used illustrations to explain it clearly. The tour was engaging, easy to follow, and full of interesting discoveries.I really enjoyed it!
