We start by visiting Nelson Mandela House in Houghton Suburbs and follow on by visiting Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg which kept Apartheid convicts back in the day. Get to know in detail life of being a prisoner which was a matter of life and death in Prison. From here we will drive through downtown and get to experience the city that was build during those apartheid days and compare the lifestyles and ways of life in a world. The most well known suburbs Known as Hilbrow which was built in the hill next to constitution Hill, see the stadium where 1995 ruby team win and Nelson Mandela lifted the trophy. the most developing part of Johannesburg in site of tourism and paintings on the walls known as Maboneng. We had family and children tour, international friends and boyfriend had fun, we had food at the kwa mai mai it worth doing this tour Visited Nelson Mandela house,Constitutional hill and Johannesburg city center

Johannesburg family tour completed
Well remembered tours of Jozi, We have visited 2 houses of Nelson Mandela in Houghton We visited Hilbrow and Constition Hill for 2 hours. We progressed to Bramfontain,New Town and Johannesburg Central.we took walk at Maboneng and saw the culture of city Johannesburg. Visit at Kwa-mai with the cultural food and the people everywhere completed this tour. I recommend to anyone who want culture and food and the same time.

Food Tour - Do Not Recommend
This was unfortunately the most disappointing experience we had during our visit to South Africa. The itinerary and description of the tour were unclear and misleading compared to what was actually provided. The Nelson Mandela House offered very little history or substance, contrary to what was promised. While we did see Hillbrow and drive around the city, the so-called “food tour” was nothing like what was advertised. The area we were taken to was presented as very unsafe, associated with prostitution and high crime, and even the driver mentioned that in October, only 2 out of his 20 groups actually ate at the market due to serious concerns about hygiene and safety. If this is the case, it raises the question of why this location continues to be offered as part of the tour. The driver made it seem as though he had limited options for us. At one point, he drove us to a place close by the market that was more of a restaurant style, but he didn’t actually stop or give us the chance to go inside and see if it might have worked as a safer alternative. When he eventually called his boss to ask about an option closer to our hotel, the response was dismissive, unhelpful, and delivered with very poor customer service. In the end, we did not receive any authentic food experience at all. The photos in the advertisement are deceiving and do not reflect the reality of what we were taken to. For such an expensive tour, what was provided did not represent the cost. Overall, this tour was misleading, and not worth booking.

Food tour without FOOD
We went on a food tour where, unfortunately, no food was actually offered. Our guide, Clement, picked us up from our hotel and drove us around Johannesburg, mainly pointing out the city’s more dangerous areas. We did, however, have a wonderful experience visiting Constitution Hill. When it was time to eat, Clement took us to the Kwa Mai Mai Market. He mentioned that the area was unsafe and noted that out of 20 tour groups, only two group ate there. He even pointed out nearby prostitution activity, which made us feel uncomfortable. He offered no reassurance about our safety, and we were also concerned about the food hygiene conditions. Clement then told us that his “boss” might agree to cover the cost for us to eat elsewhere, possibly in Sandton. He initially couldn’t reach his boss, but continued driving toward our hotel. Once he finally made contact, he said the boss refused and had only allocated 150 rand per person for food. The owner was unwilling to accommodate our request for an alternative dining option. We were ultimately dropped off at our hotel and arranged our own meal. Overall, the entire experience was very disappointing.

Waited for them to pick me up they didn't pick me up
Very bad didn't make the trip with my partner we waited for the pickup but it didn't happen and we didn't get any help
