A fantastic day to Jinja and Nile River
To see the beauty of Beautiful source of Nile River and to have an amazing experience of wildlife of various variety of bird, we moved with Gazelle Safari Company for a full day tour. At a very first sight we just saw the amazing source of this great river. After that we got into a boat- and got a chance to be so close to the vast variety of birds, as well as others. The boat driver was also very respectful to the wildlife and so he go as slow as I liked. Completing the half day of tour we then visited to Bujagali Falls. Truly I say, now there is just a marks of that fall, but still having a diversity to enjoy. You can have some other things to do at there. At our third stop to Mabira forest we found some natural beauty of tropical rain forest. Here also can do some more to explore or fun like guided forest walk, bird watching or tree hugging. Overall it was a great experience at Jinja. Thanks to this company for this amazing pleasure.
Response from the operator: Hi Jessie, Thank you for choosing to travel with Gazelle Safari Company. We are glad you had a good time

A day to Jinja - Source of the Nile
We really enjoyed our trip to Jinja. Me with one of my friend, visited the Gandhi monument, the nearby markets and had a boat ride to the source of the Nile River taking in the magnificent views and nature along the way. At their Source of the Nile we had a look at a tiny gift shop and stepped out for photos, although it does get a little as everyone there are waiting for their turn! At second half of tour we went to Bujagali falls. Right now, the current situation is just a shadow of falls, however this aspect has given up the opportunity to take a boat ride on the 'Bujagali lake' to see the new dam. Probably not worth visiting at here on its own but with combined with some additional activities like quad bikes and the Nile high bungie jump made a plus for great views, it still makes for a great day out. Thanks Gazelle Safari for this amazing day.
Response from the operator: John, Thank you for having chosen Gazelle Safari Company. It was a pleasure travelling with you and showing you around Jinja. We hope you return to Uganda some day so that we can show you more of what Uganda has to offer.

Jinja Adventure Tour (Private): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does Jinja Adventure Tour (Private) cost?
+
Prices start at $327 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jinja Adventure Tour (Private) take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is Jinja Adventure Tour (Private) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jinja Adventure Tour (Private)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jinja Adventure Tour (Private) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jinja Adventure Tour (Private)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jinja Adventure Tour (Private) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
