With just 8 kms driving distance from Mussooorie and a short two km hike will bring you to the majestic Jharipani falls. The passes through a beautiful forest and is a pleasure down the pristine forest leads you to the falls. We stop and bath at the falls and also have a small picnic of our very own popular Maggi and fries of course Tea/soft drinks. Exploring the area is something we recommend and after the refreshing bath, a nice siesta is always welcome. It’s an easy and doable walk for all age groups

    Jharipani waterfall trek

My insight into what I saw and experienced is all simple yet adequate. It was small trek to Jharipani waterfall. Throughout the journey the arrangements and time management corresponding to the sudden notice and short duration were up to par. Mr. Vipul had his shoulders for responsibilities and adventure. The trip was though well organised and great grand fun. Overall it was thrill jammed with peace and learning. It was a compact touch of serenity out of the urban. Thanks Vipul and team!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review Mam, we look forward to hosting you on bigger Himalayan treks in future Regards Vipul

    A WALK TO REMEMBER

I and two of my colleagues just stumbled upon this little Adventure chest in Landour. This kind of a shop is the least you would expect in the middle of a dull landour bazaar. We met a jolly good fellow Vipul inside who introduced us with a variety of treks nearby. Not having much experience in Trekking, we opted for the jharipani fall trek as recommended by vipul, and boy was that a good call! Our dull and boring trip just turned into a wild jungle adventure. We could never in our dreams imagine ourselves ever going through the stretches and alleys he took us through. Mind Blown. You can totally depend on vipul and his team for your safety. They take care of eveything!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review Sir, we look forward to hosting you on bigger Himalayan treks in future Regards Vipul

    Beginner level trek

Its nice to see outdoor adventure industry finally coming of age in India. I mean if my experience with Yeti Outdoors is anything to go by, I'd say these men really love and know what they are doing. It shows right from their enthusiasm over the inquiry, planning, honest suggestions, willingness to accomodate any last minute changes you ask for, entire execution of the trek, their knowledge to the local landscape and what not. I Never knew there was so much to mussourie besides the mall. Plus, They have this cool shop in Landour Bazaar where you'll find A-Z of adventure/outdoor equipment. Totally impressed! Looking forward to other treks offered by them.

Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rishikesh.

How much does Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike cost?

    +

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rishikesh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rishikesh is not rushed.

Is Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rishikesh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rishikesh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rishikesh and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jharipani Waterfall and Picnic Half day Hike start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rishikesh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rishikesh?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rishikesh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Rafting in Rishikesh - 26 Km., Har Ki dun Trek by Himalaya Shelter, Private 6-Day Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rishikesh?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rishikesh?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
