Church of the Nativity
From Jerusalem we take a nearby trip to Bethlehem, the place where Jesus Christ was born. Our journey takes us to Manger Square which is surrounded by the Mosque of Omar, the Palestinian Peace center the church of Church of Nativity of which some may recognize as the oldest functioning church in the world. The Church of Nativity was built in the 4th century and was extended during 6th century. Some of the original mazaic flooring exists today. Entering the Basilica of the Nativity we go creep through a low doorway called the “door of Humility”. On the walls we can see golden mosaics with 30 of the 44 pink limestone columns of the nave of the church which were embellished with decorations by the Crusaders. Below the church, there is a grotto which has an engraving in Latin stating “Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary.” You will also find in the church a chapel of the manger and the altar of the Adoration of the Magi. (The three Wise men).

Milk Grotto
This small and peaceful chapel is located close to the Nativity Church in Manger Square. Tradition has it that while Mary was nursing Jesus, a few drops of milk spilled to the ground turning the rocks white. The church is believed to be where Joseph, Mary and Jesus took refuge before their escape to Egypt. The grotto’s name is derived from the belief that a drop of Mary’s milk spilled onto the ground of the cave and turned it completely white. In fact, the milky white rock covering the grotto’s interior has a magical power. For ages, childless woman of many religions have made a pilgrimage to the Milk Grotto, in order to ask for the gift of an offspring. Some of the pilgrims will take the stone powder with them and give it to the people who cannot have children.

5++++++
There are people who know how to turn any accident into a holiday. First I was held at the border for a long time, then the hotel apologized for the mistake for a long time, but said there were no beds. Completely depressed, I went to the Old Town, hoping to find a place to sleep in one of the hotels there. Suddenly, right at the Jaffa Gate, in a tiny office the size of a matchbox, I was about to be rescued by the real miracle Boris, the host of the Israstar travel agency. Very friendly, he immediately called his partner Yuri, who instantly found me a great studio apartment in the heart of Jerusalem, and the next day I went on a tour The guide in Bethlehem spoke Russian with minor mistakes, but everything was clear and exciting And in Jerusalem, another guide, who happened to be my countryman, made the tour unforgettable! Thank you, Boris and Yuri, thank you guides Khaled and Arkady, you are wonderful!
Response from the operator: Огромное спасибо за этот потрясающий отзыв.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jerusalem.
How much does Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jerusalem usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only take?
+

Is Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jerusalem, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jerusalem can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jerusalem and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jerusalem & Bethlehem Mini Group From Jerusalem. Up to 6 pax only start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jerusalem within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jerusalem?
+
On Outty we rank every Jerusalem experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jerusalem Boutique Tour from Tel Aviv, Travel to Bethlehem Half Day Guided Tour from Jerusalem, Jerusalem: Dual Narrative Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jerusalem?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jerusalem?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
