    Worst trip

Whole experience was a nightmare. The tickets were never sent to the actual company operating the tour so our seats were not registered despite having received confirmation a week in advance. Because of this the bus was overbooked with 3 separate language groups being scheduled simultaneously, no tour guide available.

Wonderful Tour - highly recommend it especially if you love horses and/or Sherry.

We came to Seville to see the Andalusian Horse Show at Jerez de la Frontera. We understood there was a Sherry Tasting portion to thus tour and we appreciated that we got that opportunity too. Our guide on May 30, 2026 gave us all tge option to change our minds about the horse event which made those who had chosen it a laugh - all of us were avid horse people, why would we choose that option then not want to do it. We were disappointed that we really only had 10 minutes at interval to do some shopping plus just a few more minutes after the show to buy souvenirs because no photography is allowed in the show so we all wanted some postcards etc. New Zealand is a very long way to come from to see this show then be stressed out trying to buy some memories. We suggest there be one tour dedicated to the horse event which by the way was absolutely brilliant- we highly recommend it but give your customers at least 39 minutes fir shopping. The few shop assistants were extremely busy trying to assist rather frantic customers. Another suggestion is to maybe organize with the stables to have a peek into the actual stables and perhaps get up close to one of these magnificent horses. We loved our two sightseeing guides (one in training) but felt that they were not really personalily very knowledgeable about horses and that the tour company is not either nor perhaps are they aware of how important the horse part of the tour was for us. Then we proceeded south to Cadiz which was also wonderful but we had no warning about how far we would have to walk and both myself and my husband have recent injuries to our feet/ankles and the guide took us on a "very long walk" through town in cobbled streets. Walking was very painful and we were far behind the group so missed hearing about the specific details the guide talked about. I feel there should be another option for those who have difficulty walking distance. But we did enjoy our hour in the center of town where we sat and enjoyed lunch and a cold beer. Overall it was a truly wonderful day.

    Dont do it!!!

Do not recommend this tour company, it was highly unorganised and made us rush to get to winery to quickly do the tasting and just made it in time for the horse show. And especially if you book an English speaking tour YOU WILL NOT GET ONE but they still shove you on the bus to do the tour and try and work things out for yourself. Spanish and Italian got all the commentary on the tour English was dismal.. Do yourself a favour and give this a miss!!

    Do not recommend

I cannot recommend this trip or this tour company because it was incredibly disorganized from start to finish. We were given incorrect times made to walk very long distances and throughout the day not told clear instructions on what to expect at what times and where to be. I felt that I could have made much better use of the day going solo than with this tour.

    Buyer beware.

The horse show was wonderful and we enjoyed the sherry testing too. However the trip itself left a lot to be desired. We disliked how disorganized the tour company Viator contracts with that provided the tours . We were told to meet at 8 a.m. By the time the bus picked us up and then took us to another place to get on another bus and wait for a couple who were lost or late, we didn’t even begin the drive to Jerez until after 10:30. The means were got up at 6:30 to leave by 7:30 to meet a bus that did not leave in time. Secondly the guide was rude and condescending. We are all in our 70’s and were most of the other patrons. There were 4 young people on board but my experience shows me that the majority of patrons are retired and older persons. The guide side very fast and had a strong accent and was hard to understand even when we could hear him. He walked very fast. One of our party walks with a cane. There was another person who also used a cane. E we talked to him 4 times and asked that he set a pace where everyone could keep up and he did not listen nor attempt to accommodate, and even in Cadez asked the other group of 4 to leave the group and meet up later. That is not what we paid for. We believe that the disorganization and late start pushed him to push though the tour to meet his timeline. If it were not for the young woman who was his co-guide and stayed with us so we didn’t get lost, we would have been left behind. He did not even acknowledge the driver who did a great job. So bottom line the co-guide and the driver received tips but the guide did not. As a side note, the previous day we did the Rhonda and White towns tour. Our guide Driss, took my sister under his wing and walked with her at a slower pace so we could keep up. No one complained that we weren’t walking too fast. These tours are hilly with narrow streets and mostly bricks or cobbled streets. If he would be that conscientious then others can too. Subsequently, she ended up not going on the Cordoba tour because of it.

Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville cost?

    +

Prices start at $116 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 145 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville?

    +

Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jerez & Cadiz Winery with Tasting & Opt Horse Show from Seville start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
