    Awesome journey

It was a wonderful experience with someone very kind, smiling, talented, and engaging. Tomokita-san shared her extensive knowledge and the true method for making Japanese soufflé pancakes. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at ease. It was a fantastic moment of sharing and a truly lovely encounter. We highly recommend this comprehensive experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for attending the class the other day. I was truly impressed by your excellent skills and how quickly you improved. I sincerely wish you continued success and all the best in your business endeavors.

    The Best!!!

If you ever come to Japan and want to learn how to make Japanese fluffy pancakes/cakes, I highly recommend booking with her! I’m so grateful for this experience. I really loved that the class was one-on-one instead of a big group setting, because she truly focused on teaching me step by step. She explains everything so clearly, makes sure you understand each part of the process, and is very patient and encouraging. One thing I especially loved was how the first time we made it together, and then the second time I got to do it myself while she guided me and corrected me where needed. It really helped me learn and feel confident. Such an amazing experience overall, and I’m so happy I booked this class!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

Arrive hungry! Delicious and great learning experience!!

Excellent experience!! I purchased this experience for my daughter who needed to take a cooking class while we were abroad, and it was tough finding one that wasn't for corporate groups! I went out on a limb and booked the experience with Tomokita, and we're so glad we did! I walked to a nearby park and painted while she took the class. My daughter learned so much, she was all smiles. Had a great time. My only word of warning: arrive HUNGRY!! You'll be so glad you did. The pancakes and seasonal fruit served are so yummy. Tomokita is very kind and welcoming. I can't express enough how great an experience my daughter had.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for finding my class, especially since most of the reservations for this pancake class usually come through other agencies. Your daughter was truly wonderful—bright, polite, and with a great sense of humor. I felt she must take after her mother. I am deeply grateful that we were able to share such a wonderful time together.

    This was an amazing...

This was an amazing personalized cooking class for just me and my daughter. Tomoko met us at the station and walked us to her lovely home. We stopped by a local temple along the way. She had everything prepped and ready to go. She first demonstrated the process and then allowed us to go through all the steps (so we got to eat the pancakes x 2). She shared her cooking tips from years of experience. She was also just lovely to chat with about her life experiences and travels. It was a great morning and one of the best cooking classes I have taken while traveling. I highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review!

JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo cost?

    +

Prices start at $18000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does JAPANESE Fluffy Souffle Pancakes & Nature Walk in Todoroki, Tokyo start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

    +

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

    +

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
