A Must-do Authentic Japanese Cooking Experience

The location is very easy to access—about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. The place is a bit tucked away and can be tricky to spot, but it is absolutely worth finding. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this experience far exceeded my expectations. Momo’s English is amazing, and she clearly guided even a complete novice like me to cook a delicious meal. We made a traditional Japanese breakfast: onigiri, miso soup, and tamago maki. The whole cooking process was so much fun, and Momo even explained the science behind what we were doing, as well as how Japanese people typically enjoy their meals. Momo herself had a positive, smiling attitude throughout, which made the experience even more worthwhile. I was especially nervous about rolling the tamago maki by myself, but I was amazed by how it turned out. This is a must-do experience if you want to experience authentic Japan. I can’t recommend it enough!

Fun experience for all the family :)

We really enjoyed the "Breakfast" cooking class we took with Momo. The recipes were well-chosen and just the right level of difficulty. The different steps were clearly explained. A wonderful experience for our group of two adults and a teenager.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m so glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed the experience. I hope you’ll continue cooking Japanese dishes and bringing a little taste of Japan to Canada too! 🇨🇦🇯🇵
