Magnificent Thailand!
During my stay in Phuket, I used Sawanu Travel for trips to the Phi Phi Islands and James Bond Island, and overall, the experience was absolutely fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of my time in Phuket. The tours themselves were incredibly well organised and packed so much into the day. We had the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful places around Phuket, from the crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery of Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon to Viking Cave and Phi Phi Don. The James Bond Island experience was equally memorable, with the spectacular limestone scenery of Phang Nga Bay, canoeing around Hong Island, visiting the iconic James Bond Island and experiencing the floating village at Koh Panyi. What really made the experience special, however, was the Sawanu team. Bella, Sky and New were absolutely amazing! Their friendliness, warmth and knowledge genuinely made the trips so memorable. They shared so much information along the way and were attentive, kind and polite throughout. You could really feel that they wanted everyone to enjoy themselves, and they created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The package was also excellent value for money. Hotel transfers were included, along with breakfast nibbles before setting off and lunch during the tour, and I couldn’t fault the food or refreshments provided. Considering how much is included and how many places you get to experience, I definitely felt that the tours offered great value. Unfortunately, there were two aspects outside of the main tour experience that prevented me from giving five stars. The first was the hotel transfer drivers. On both occasions we were ready within the collection window we had been given, yet the drivers seemed to consider us late and their attitude was unnecessarily rude. What disappointed me most was the way one of them spoke to our hotel manager, who was absolutely lovely and was simply trying to assist. Their manner was completely at odds with the kindness and professionalism we experienced from the Sawanu team themselves. The second was the experience after the tour when purchasing the photographs. The staff handling the photo sales didn’t come across as particularly customer-focused, which was a shame because it was the final interaction at the end of what had otherwise been such an enjoyable day. Neither of these points takes away from how brilliant Bella, Sky, New and the main tour team were. They really were the stars of the experience and are the reason I would happily recommend Sawanu to anyone visiting Phuket. With a little more consistency in the service provided by the transfer drivers and the post-tour photo team, this would easily have been a 5-star experience. Overall, fantastic tours, stunning locations, excellent value for money and an amazing team who helped create some very memorable moments during my stay in Phuket.

The crew’s attitude was very unfriendly and unnecessarily aggressive. They treated guests in a rude and unprofessional manner instead of making them feel welcome. In particular, a crew member named Fafah had a very poor attitude. She was rude not only to us but to many other guests as well. We heard multiple people complaining about her behavior. This is not the level of service we expected, and it seriously affected our overall experience.

First class operator
What a fantastic day! Khun Mr T and his crew really looked after us. Their professionalism and attentiveness made us all feel welcome, safe and comfortable. And Mr T has a wonderful, cheeky sense of humour.l which made the fay so much fun. The route is very good and the explanation of all the stops was very thorough. The boat size was just right and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Next time we will have no hesitation booking Sawanu travel again and can’t wait for the Phi Phi tour.
