Fantastic Experience!!
We were lucky to fall upon this lovely experience while browsing for a place to eat while in Jaipur. Tej and his wife Nidhi welcomed us into their home for a lovely evening. They took time to share with us some lovely secrets on Indian cooking. Over the course of the evening. we prepared a lovely meal. We left with some solid basic knowledge of Indian cooking ( and the copies of the recipes!) and also made some wonderful friends. I can’t recommend this experience enough.

Highlight of our visit to Jaipur!
What good fortune we had to happen upon Royal And Nidha’s Cooking Class and dinner while we were in Jaipur. We had such a wonderful time getting to know the family and learn some tasty Indian dishes. It honestly was the highlight of our visit to Jaipur. Not only have we learned to make some delicious food that we made some wonderful friends along the way. I cannot recommend this experiencing enough. Thank you so very much!

A must do for foodies in India!
We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we booked our cooking class, but it far exceeded our expectations. We arrived as tourists and clients and left feeling like long-lost friends, carrying with us a memory that will last a lifetime. Our hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining the use of different spices, flours, and oils in Indian cooking. We were taught four carefully chosen recipes, each designed to be flexible (easily adapted for vegetarian or non-vegetarian options), and every dish was absolutely delicious. This experience is an absolute must-do when visiting India — right alongside the Taj Mahal! Tejveer, Nidhi and Angel, thank you for an unforgettable experience and see you in London next!

Amazing family experience
More than a cooking class this was like going to our family and helping out in the kitchen. Tej, Nidhi and their daughter were the most amazing hosts, from showing us the local market to telling us about their family, customs, day-to-day, cooking and eating habits all the while making exquisite food. They were very accommodating to our needs and wants. Coziest experience ever, can recommend with all my heart!

A Family Bonding & Cooking Visit that’ll Last A Lifetime
We are a family of 3. Ava, our 13-year old child enjoys international cuisine, particularly Indian dishes. She requested to go to a cooking class in Jaipur. Our travel agent guided us to Suroth’s House. They are also a family of 3, and they have a 12-year old daughter as well! Her name is Angel. Our daughters became friends right away. They cooked , played games, used musical instruments, and talked together the whole evening. We were delighted with several dishes that we prepared and ate. Suroth and his wife were generous enough to offer tasty drinks too. We felt comfortable, just like we’re home. When we got back to America, Suroth and his wife sent the recipes over WhatsApp as promised. What a delightful experience that we’ll never forget!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jaipur Private Culinary Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Jaipur Private Culinary Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jaipur Private Culinary Experience take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Jaipur Private Culinary Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jaipur Private Culinary Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jaipur Private Culinary Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jaipur Private Culinary Experience?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jaipur Private Culinary Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
