Cheat Tour operator and waste of time and money
We booked one day local sight seeing trip of Jaipur on 19 April 2024. We had a very bad experience and felt cheated. 1. We booked the Jaipur one day local trip by cab through Mr Sohail mobile number 7976734117 on 18th night. 2. the driver who came with the cab was Mr Jai Singh. The cab came a little late by 30 min and we started the trip at 10 am. 3. The driver took us first to Birla Mandir and it took aome 1 hour. 4. Next he took us to some private wax museum and fun house - This was not in the schedule at all - as this was not a monument. Any way we paid 300 rupees each and went in. It was a scam and not worth even 50 rupees. 5. Next at 11.30 or so he took us for some shopping of dress materials, etc against our wishes and we spent an hour or so on this useless thing. 6. At 12.30 Jai Singh took to to one private gems museum - Khazana Mahal - this is a gems exhibition cum fun park. Entry ticket was exhorbitantly priced at 350 rupees for each person. We said we did not want to go in . At this time only the driver informed us that all monuments are closed on 19 April 2024, because of election and told us we had to spend some time there until lunch. Mr Sohail and also the driver Jai Singh - both were aware that the monuments were closed for the day - but still took our money telling that we will go to all monuments. On normal days both the wax museum and Kazana Mahal are not at all in the itinarary Se we felt cheated and it was a total waste of money of over 2700 - cab fare and the entry tickets for the useless stuff we saw. Beware - These tour operators take you to places where they get some kickback - irrespective of whether the places are in the itenarary or not. Overall we were cheated - and our money was wasted.

Sundar is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Abdul Khan is an excellent driver. The car was clean and cool. We felt safe and well-cared for throughout our day.

Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jaipur One Day Sightseeing Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
