It is constructed of red and pink sandstone.The palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, Jaipur, and extends to the zenana, or women's chambers. Stop there for 10 to 15 minutes for clicking pictures from outside as its main attraction is its outside building. After that visit City Palace which has two parts, one part is opened for visitors which has museum and other part is for the residence of the royal family the descendants live there even now.

Great tour
Kamal was great, we had a wonderful time at amer fort and he took us to the monkey temple. We also went to elephant sanctuary.

The best tour of the pink city!
Guide was excellent! He is a good photographer too! Superb driver as well. The tour is highly recommended especially for people who have an extra day to spare. This tour is better than the Agra one - more places to visit and see.
