Don't bother if you're solo

Don't go if you're solo, they tell you last minute to come earlier instead of trying to coordinate with you. Then lie about transport. Insisted on me taking an Uber even though I already selected to be picked up. Solo travelers beware.

Response from the operator: Good day, Thank you for your review. However, we would like to clarify several inaccurate statements. Our team began contacting you the day before the tour through multiple channels, including phone calls and email, in order to coordinate transportation. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response from you. The following morning, once you replied by message, our staff attempted to call you several times to coordinate the pickup details. These calls were repeatedly declined. We even attempted to call again when our company vehicle was already outside waiting, and the call was declined once again. After the vehicle had to leave, you sent another message. At that moment we kindly explained our policy, which is clearly stated before booking: transportation is not guaranteed for solo travelers. Despite this, our team still made efforts to coordinate a pickup for you. Because we were unable to reach you by phone, we informed you that another available option was to request an Uber so you could still arrive on time for the activity. Unfortunately, we did not receive any further response until approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled start time, when you asked again about the vehicle despite the previous explanations. Additionally, even though the situation was not caused by our company, we still offered you the option to reschedule your tour so you could enjoy the experience at another time. Unfortunately, this option was also declined. For additional context, our company has been operating for over 15 years and we have welcomed many solo travelers during that time without any issues. We always do our best to accommodate our guests and help coordinate logistics when possible. We take guest service very seriously and always contact our clients in advance to ensure smooth coordination. In this case, we have clear records of the calls, emails, and messages sent starting the day before the tour. We truly made multiple efforts to assist you and ensure you could enjoy the experience with us. However, successful coordination requires communication from both sides. Kind regards.

Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch take?

+

Is Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (1/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaco and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jaco Waterfall Rappel & Zipline Combo with Tractor Safari + Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jaco?

+

On Outty we rank every Jaco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna Waterfall, Hot Springs Combo Tour with Lunch & Dinner, Jason Crocodile Tours, Surf Lessons with Pro Team in Jacó. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jaco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jaco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
