Luda & Giuseppe
Our tour of Ischia and Procida was absolutely amazing! 🇮🇹☀️🌊 Luda was the most incredible tour guide, and our skipper, Giuseppe, made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we started, they made us feel like family. ❤️ We had SO much fun exploring these beautiful islands and seeing places away from the typical tourist crowds. It felt authentic, personal, relaxed, and truly special. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a unique, non-touristy way to experience Ischia and Procida. Luda and Giuseppe—you made our day one we will never forget! 🇮🇹🛥️🥂❤️

Tour guides great; office disorganized
The actual tour itself (with Luca and Anna as our guides) was an overall positive experience. However, the office and their procedures made NO sense. We were told to walk to a meeting point (a large public parking area that many agencies use). But there was no signage to help people check in. I happened upon my contact person just by happenstance. Others were taking day trips to different places (Amalfi, Vesuvius, etc). Took a van ride thinking it was just about getting to the Marina at the bottom of the cliff, but no! We drove (in circles) to a neighboring town where we got dropped on a random street corner. Along with the same people who had boarded other vans for other itineraries. We walked to an elevator that took us to the Marina in that town and had to get tickets with numbers to know which group to go with. But tour guides started calling groups well before everyone had their tickets and so people were anxious and confused. After finding Anna (who is adorable and with never-ending energy) we took off. Only to go BACK to the Marina in actual Sorrento- where we had started- to pick up two other people. Why not just get everyone from there? We could’ve all slept an extra hour! They said we needed to pay an extra €10 of a port fee, but this could have either been built into the cost of the tour or paid to the guides at the Sorrento Marina…. No reason to get on a van, to take an elevator, to a different town just to cough up a port fee (which they insisted needed to be in cash). The morning was cool and a bit overcast so no one wanted to swim. We took a few pictures instead and went to the Ischia port. It was then that Luca and Anna said we had until 3:30. And said they would give suggestions of things to do. But their suggestion was just to walk into town to a cab stand. They were going to “negotiate” with can drivers to give us a driving tour around the island. And again, we had to pay cash. We all felt pressured to say yes. Our driver spoke minimal English and I had to play translator to the other passengers (I speak decent Italian). When we finally got dropped back at the port area where we started, it was 2:30 and we hadn’t had any lunch. We picked a cafe and had just ordered our food when Anna showed up trying to convince us to leave then. Being starved, we said no (plus it would’ve been rude to the restaurant). We then went to possibly the smallest “town” in Procida. There are several other spots where we could’ve gone- this particular spot was basically just a pier with a cafe and gelato stand. Kind of a waste since we got no sense of the island. Again, Luca and Anna were lovely and just delivering the tour as they were instructed to do… but the organizers need to get their act together! Have the tour start and end at the Sorrento Marina, include the taxi tour as part of the experience (with drivers who have stronger English) and either skip Procida or go to a better location on the island.
Response from the operator: Dear EmilyArizona, thanks to take time for sharing your concern. The parking Lauro is our meeting point in the centre of Sorrento, used by many agencies (true) this does not mean that it is never abandoned by our customer service, when you book the tour you receive a message from us with the exact location of the meeting point and the day before you receive a reminder with the same link as Google Maps. Our office is always ready and available to help customers in case they don't find the exact location (as was done for you). The tour does not start from the Marina di Sorrento, and those other two people you are referring to were two people who, due to very serious problems, were unable to take the bus in the morning and in order not to leave them alone and make them lose the money we thought to grant him a departure from Sorrento. Unfortunately we care a lot about customers and are empathetic towards those who have problems! As specified in the itineraries, THE LANDING FEE IS NOT INCUSE AND MUST BE PAID ON BOARD, we don't understand what you are complaining about because after all it was all your knowledge!!! As always specified, everything you do in your free time is to be paid extra and is not up to us. Skippers and assistants are not tour guides (you should know that they have an extra cost), our guys just gave you some advice. Before booking a tour it is perhaps advisable to get an idea of where you are going and what you can do in that area. As much as the timetables, having booked a group tour you must respect the timetables, those who want to be free and without timetable programs must book a private tour (and I imagine you know that this has a different price). We sincerely regret your recent not positive experience Rosa Savarese Reservations Dept & Customer Care

Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento cost?
+
Prices start at $164 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ischia and Procida Boat Tour: Small-Group from Sorrento start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
