    Reliable and awesome bookings

We booked both the Blue Hole and Horseback Back Riding. When Suzette showed up personally to drive us it was a nice surprise. Our first stop was the Blue Hole. She had her favorite tour guide meet us at the entrance. He did an excellent job. And I 100% recommend this excursion. Next stop was horseback riding and again she requested her favorite guide at that activity. Riding on the beach and in the water was on my bucket-list and we did both. I grew up riding, so it was a little disappointing to not get to ride without the tour guides holding the bridle most of the way. But, the guides were excellent and took a ton of pictures with my phone. And lastly, we had our private transportation company on our arrival cancel at the last minute. We were very happy to hear that Suzette also offered transportation back to the airport. They picked us up actually a little early and we got to the airport in plenty of time. And, we had cultural and other interesting information provided on all the excursions. Highly recommend all the services offered.

    Blue Hole/ Bamboo Raft

June 2021 My friend & I went on a girls trip to Jamaica & chose to book everything while we were there. I messaged Suzette at 11pm to see if she was able to get us into a Blue Hole/ Bamboo raft tour the next day & she made it happen for us! We had an AMAZING time not only with her during the drive, but also with all of the guides she placed us with. We felt safe, taken care of, and excited about all of the things we were able to experience! The raft is very relaxing. We were able to get off and go on a tire swing in the river, stop and walk around on Reggae Hill, and steer the raft. At Blue Hole we were able to jump off like a 25/30 foot ledge, swing from a rope swing, and jump over some smaller jumps, climb up part of a waterfall to do a mud bath, and go underneath the waterfall into a little cave! For the Blue Hole tour you will need water shoes, be prepared to go in just your swimsuit as you will get wet, and be able to hike through some tougher terrain. The guides are very helpful in helping you get through the terrain and ensuring you have a great time! They are also awesome at taking your photos/videos so you leave with a lot of good ones! We would definitely recommend!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your wonderful review.

    Blue Hole is a Must-See!

Suzette went above and beyond when my friend and I booked the Blue Hole + Horseback Riding excursions. Her private transfers from our villa to each activity were such a lovely treat that saved us the headache of organizing transportation to and from each location. Once we arrived, Suzette made sure we were matched with the best guides. She is very sweet and funny and made sure we felt safe and taken care of. I would also highly recommend visiting the Blue Hole! What a magical, beautiful place! Ask for Omar as your tour guide - he's extremely kind and will make sure you have the best day ever, whether you're scared of heights or the biggest thrill seeker. He made sure we saw (and jumped into) all the most gorgeous waterfalls and caves and surprised us with interesting facts about the flora along the trail. I would definitely go again the next time I'm in Ochi!

Response from the operator: Thanks for this wonderful review.

I had a very bad accident here so take care.

This is a beautiful place, although we got there quite late in the afternoon so missed out on a lot of the activities. We were walked to the lagoon over extremely bad terain which is fine if you are able, which we were. We had a 4 year old so the young man who guided us had to carry her part of the way. Getting into the water was very awkward and rocky so if you aren't good on your legs or a confident person near water, please don't go here. The only activity we were offered to do, maybe because of the time, was the jump from the platform. You had to go partly through the waterfall and pull yourself up with the help of just a rope, but I decided to do as thought if I didn't, I may not get another chance. There is no instructions on how to jump, you are just left to it. Unfortunately (very unfortunately) I landed on the water with my bottom 1st which was like hitting a brick wall. All it would have took to avoid this was for the guide to have said, keep your legs straight when you jump. Or a simple diagram for you to see, Yes. I know this is probably common sense to some people, but with the excitement and nerves of the moment, I just went for it.Others were waiting to jump too, so it's not a case of taking your time. I was unsure whether to do and the guide said go on, have a go you may only get one chance. I am 58, so didn't want to miss out on the opportunity. Needless to say, I was in a mess as I came up. The pain took my breath away and I struggled to get to the rocks to hold on. Once I had, the guide swam to me and helped me to safety. However, I then had the excruciating pain of getting back to the car park. On returning home I had a fractured spine and am still in terrible pain weeks later trying to recover. If you do go here, please take care, if you do decide to jump from the platform, concentrate on keeping your legs and arms very straight.. I would also say do not go late on or you will pay for activities that you wont get chance to do. My daughter and granddaughter wanted to do the rope jump but we didn't get the choice.

Response from the operator: Maggie R sorry about your accident. This review should be for blue hole and not for us.Plus we have searched our reservation system and didn't see where you have booked with us

Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ocho Rios.

How much does Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios cost?

    +

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ocho Rios usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ocho Rios is not rushed.

Is Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ocho Rios, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ocho Rios can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ocho Rios and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Irie Blue Hole Tour from Ocho Rios start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ocho Rios within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ocho Rios?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ocho Rios experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Hole only-from Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Tour, Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls Tour with Lunch and Cocktails at Reggae Hill. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ocho Rios?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ocho Rios?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
