Seoul is a huge city, and the night view is just amazing. While walking along Hanyangdoseong fortress in Inwangsan mountain, you can have a spectacular night view including N tower, Lotter tower and almost of the whole city! Instead of going to the lookout tower, let's see the tower from the mountain, and get some fresh air. At night the mountain is quiet. You'll avoid crowds and get relaxed with the nature. After the hike, we will take a bus to Gyeonbokgung station. Check out our Instagram for more info! @honeytrailkorea

A Beautiful Hike Up a Historic Mountain in Seoul
If you love hiking, I highly recommend the half-day hike with Lee up to the summit of Inwangsan Mountain in Seoul. You'll pass interesting historical sites on your way up and down the mountain, along the old city walls. On a clear day the views are stunning as you look out across the city. Lee is a wonderful guide and adapts well to her clients. She can be as chatty or quiet as you wish, and will walk as fast or as slowly as you need. She is an avid hiker and has done long treks all around the world so has lots to share during your time together. If you're physically fit, the Inwangsan hike is lots of fun, although the trail is rocky and very steep towards the mountain summit. You will climb up and down many stairs, so be prepared for that.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the lovely review. It truly made my day to read it! I’m really happy you enjoyed the experience on Inwangsan. The views were beautiful that day, and it was wonderful sharing the trail and conversations together. I also really appreciated your positive energy throughout the hike. Seoul has many other great mountains and trails with completely different scenery, so I hope you’ll come back someday and explore more of them with me. Wishing you many more fun adventures and happy hikes ahead! Have a wonderful day too. :-) Regards, Lee (@honeytrailkorea)

Autumn in Inwangsan Mountain etc
Good! Super fit Lee led us up Inwangsan, worked a bit of our cardio. Atop, we soaked in heart-calming views. Some historical nuggets: Sajik Alter, Dangun Shrine. What rocked for me was a library nestled in the foliage - wouldn’t have come across it without Ms Lee. Rained but we were aligned in our easygoingness. We ducked into a shop for croissant/ latte and Namdo Buksik for -Spicy rice cake (Ddeokbokki), Flat dumplings (Napjak Mandu), Fried vegetables (Yachae Tuigim), Blood sausage (Sundae) - yea! We even like the same food. Shopping at Tongin market. Thks Lee for Honey cookies (Yakgwa)! - Su-Yin/Jiunn
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Su-Yin and Jiunn for coming to the hiking tour. I still sometimes see the photos we took together in the mountain. It felt like I hiked with my good friends. Thanks again for Ddeokbboki and everything! Please let me know if you ever come back to Korea. Always take care. :-) Regards, Lee (@honeytrailkorea)

So much more than just a great climb!
Thank you again. It was perfect weather. A great day, where I learned more about Korean culture and history, experienced a challenging but not difficult hike with a great guide, saw a 360 degree view of Seoul, discovered a vey unique, glassed-walled library in the woods, shared a Korean meal with a new friend, and discovered the best bakery in Seoul!
Response from the operator: Honeytrailkorea.com team would like to thank you for your kind review. I'm glad you enjoyed hiking. One of my favorite things to do in Inwangsan is visiting the library too! As you said, it was really like hanging out with a new friend. Thank you so much for the bread. The bread was my breakfast for several days. Haha. :-) I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Korea, and hope to meet you someday again. Have a lovely day.

Highly recommended to go on this hike. Easily achievable.
It was our pleasure to meet up with Honey who brought us around on this hike. This is perfect with my tween who is 10yo and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended for those who love culture/nature and hiking.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the review. I really liked the snack you brought! It means a lot for me. I'm very glad your kid enjoyed it too. She is soooo adorable. I will remember the hiking with you and your family and the kindness that every of your family members showed me. Thank you for the great day again. :-)

Wonderful hike
This was my first hike with Lee and it was another amazing journey. She was very open and always encouraging during the accent. This was by no means a hard climb, but it was helpful to have someone who would cheer you up! The path itself is clear and easy to step with some steps closer to the top. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a beginner, this tour offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, learn, and create lasting memories. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive outdoor adventure.
Response from the operator: Thank you for coming to hike. I had so juch fun hiking with you. I hope you can come back someday and we hike together again! Have a nice day, and enjoy your travel. :-) Regards, Lee (@honeytrailkorea)

Inwangsan hike & historical sites: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does Inwangsan hike & historical sites cost?
+
Prices start at $76 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Inwangsan hike & historical sites take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is Inwangsan hike & historical sites worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Inwangsan hike & historical sites?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Inwangsan hike & historical sites suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Inwangsan hike & historical sites?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Inwangsan hike & historical sites start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Inwangsan hike & historical sites?
+
Included: Certified tour guide leading. Not included: Any loss, injury, illness, accident or/and damage to persons or/and property; and Any personal expenses. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Inwangsan hike & historical sites?
+
Gyeongbokgung Station (line 3), Exit 1 (outside) Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Inwangsan hike & historical sites offered in?
+
It is offered in Korean and English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Inwangsan hike & historical sites?
+
