Great tour
Our tour guide Agus Indrawan was great and knowledgeable. Very approachable with questions and polite and made sure everything went to plan.
via Tripadvisor
Well organised & friendly.
Agus was so prompt, friendly & organised. He was very attentive to our needs & had our tickets so we could just experience the Temple, not wait in line. He was very knowledgeable & didn't mind all my questions. We had a great time.

Dancing, fire, monkeys!
My husband and I booked this trip the day off to give us something extra to do. As soon as we booked the trip (10:00am) our driver Putu (Jerry) messaged us asking if he could pick us up earlier than the specified 2:00 time to accommodate for traffic. Our driver was prompt and the car came with bottled water. The drive to Uluwatu from Canggu was roughly 2 hours. During our drive, Putu got out and helped traffic jams. When we arrived in Uluwatu, we went to a coffee plantation. We were given 15 free samples of coffee and tea. There was an option to but cups of coffee and loose leaf coffee/tea but it did not feel like an obligation. When we got to the temple, Putu did a wonderful job explaining everything we needed to know and took amazing photos in all the best spots. The kecak dance and fire show was interesting! Definitely look over the program so you are able to follow along. They pack the show tight so be prepared to be close to others in the direct sunlight until around 6:15. The show lasts around an hour. Beware of the monkeys at the temple: they will try to steal from you. After the show Putu took us to a seafood restaurant for dinner. It was located 30 minutes from the temple (heavy traffic caused it to take almost an hour for us). The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was attentive. Please note that the restaurant only serves seafood. The booking states that there are vegetarian and vegan options available but this was not the case when we visited. Regardless, it was a nice restaurant and a welcomed break in the middle of our drive. I recommend this tour and experience!!

Amazing tour, Amazing guide
We booked 2 trips with the bali experience and had such a brilliant time. We booked both a tour from ubud including the holy water temple and one to ulawatu where we got to see the kecak fire dance, both were amazing. Our guide Agus was so friendly and informative and gave us a really detailed insight into balinese culture and ceremonies. He was super funny and accomodating and really made the experience for us. we could not recommend him enough. If i come back to bali will definately be booking again.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jimbaran.
How much does Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jimbaran usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jimbaran is not rushed.
Is Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jimbaran, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jimbaran can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jimbaran and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Incredible Uluwatu Temple Sunset & Kecak Fire Dance start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jimbaran within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jimbaran?
+
On Outty we rank every Jimbaran experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover The Best of Ubud: All-Inclusive and Private Guided Tour, Ubud: Monkey Forest, Jungle Swing, Rice Terrace and Water Temple, Best of Ubud Private and All-Inclusive 1-Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jimbaran?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jimbaran?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
