Exceptional Tour!

Our guide Johnathan was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Iguazu National Park and a highly experienced and professional guide. The tour was very well organized from pick up to drop off. Our driver Valeria kept in touch and let us know when she was coming and where she would be picking us up. Lunch was included and it was a buffet with plenty of food. We enjoyed our private day trip tour. Everything was arranged and we did not need to worry about any of the transportation arrangements. It was well worth the price for a stress free day.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share this wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had an exceptional private tour and that Johnathan and Valeria made your day smooth, informative, and stress‑free. It’s great to know that the organization from pickup to drop‑off, the communication, and the included lunch all contributed to a memorable experience at Iguazú National Park. A private tour should feel effortless and enriching, and we’re thrilled that this was exactly your experience. Your kind words mean a lot to our team, and we truly appreciate you choosing us for your visit to Iguazú Falls. We hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

Iguazu falls was great, the airline chosen by the booking agent was terrible

Iguazu Falls was great and the local guide there was informative and very helpful, especially considering that we arrived a couple hours late due to problems with the included air with FlyBondi. So, we would have rated the trip a 5 if it wasn’t for being booked on AirBondy. To start the trip we sat at Buenos Aires airport from 5-9 AM due to a flight delay. Once onboard everything about the airplane was dirty and it took a magician to flush the toilet. In talking to Argentine friends it was clear that this was no surprise as they are known for cancelations and poor service. The local booking agent said that this carrier was the only option other than canceling our booking. To be honest, we wish they would have given us the cancellation option as we saw other options for flights before booking the high priced package with an agency that we thought we could count on for a premium package at a premium price. I guess we guessed wrong.

Response from the operator: Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to kindly note that this review appears to be a duplicate of the one previously posted on this platform, which we have already responded to in detail. Unfortunately, Tripadvisor does not currently recognize or filter duplicate reviews, which is why we are replying here as well for transparency. As mentioned in our previous response, flight operations in Argentina are limited to a small number of airlines, and the schedules available on the date of your trip were the only ones that allowed the excursion to be completed within the same day while maintaining the full itinerary at Iguazu Falls. We truly appreciate your positive comments about the destination and the local guide, and we are glad to know that despite the flight delay you were still able to enjoy the experience at the falls. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards,

Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour take?

+

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 69 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 14-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour?

+

Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Iguazú Falls Private Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

+

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
