Misses the mark.
The best part of this trip were the sunset and the captain/host, Basilio, was very friendly and accommodating and the sunset was beautiful. Unfortunately there were several misses that created a less than satisfactory experience. It’s difficult to find the meeting place. Then you have to walk down an ancient rocky pier to get into an unstable dinghy to get to the sailboat. Sadly, the sail was not used and the entire cruise was by motor. I recommend booking the entire boat (6 people) because we booked with an immature, inconsiderate foursome that really put a damper on trip. The hors d’oeuvres were stale when they should have been crunchy, and the meat and cheese had the consistency of being left out for hours before the trip. However, .the endless cava was very much appreciated. Major turnoff - the immature French ladies and the captain started smoking cigarettes about halfway through the cruise. The boat is in need of an overhaul and was not very clean. I’m not a boater so perhaps I’m being unreasonable. Last, Basilio suggested a taxi back to the Port of Ibiza. Sadly, there was not a free taxi to be found at 10 pm, so we reserved both a taxi and an Uber (huge surcharge, huge wait which nobody could estimate the pickup time.) After waiting an hour, we asked a kind hotel clerk for help. She pointed us to the bus station which was a 20 minute walk away, in 90+ degree heat. Sadly, the crowded bus took us to the Port of Eivissa, not the Port of Ibiza. We had to then take a taxi to get back to the cruise ship after the bus dropped us (at its last bus stop.) The distance from Port St. Anthony to Port of Ibiza and transport needs should be made clearly evident from the in the booking description, considering the tour operator is catering to cruises. I was a looking forward to this tour but it was a let-down.

Quiet and amazing Sunset tour
This was lovely. Such a relaxing way to view the Sunset with the added bonus of the eclipse! Everything flowed as advertised. Just a chill evening at sea with good Cava and Hors d'oeuvres. Our Captain was such a sweet and friendly host!

Perfect evening
A fabulous experience and well worth booking. Basilio was lovely and he was very kind and thoughtful. We were lucky enough to have booked this trip to watch the solar eclipse and he shared our excitement. It really was a perfect evening and would have been even without the eclipse.

Unforgettable experience!
We had an absolutely amazing sunset cruise in Ibiza. The trip included a beautiful tour around the coastline, with plenty of opportunities to take in the stunning scenery and learn more about the island. It was so incredibly relaxing. The snacks provided were delicious, and there was cava and beer available throughout the trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our skipper, Basilio, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and so knowledgable about the island. He struck the perfect balance between sharing interesting facts and stories about Ibiza and giving us space to simply relax and enjoy the boat ride. Every so often he would point out something fascinating, but never in a way that felt intrusive. The highlight of the trip was, without a doubt, the sunset. It was absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything we have ever seen before. Watching the sun disappear over the horizon from the water was a truly unforgettable experience. Basilio turned the boat so that we could sit comfortably and watch this. This was one of the best experiences, and I would definitely recommend this amazing trip to anyone looking for a special way to experience Ibiza. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ibiza.
How much does Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest) cost?
+
Prices start at $143 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ibiza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest) take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ibiza is not rushed.
Is Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ibiza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest)?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ibiza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ibiza and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ibiza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ibiza?
+
On Outty we rank every Ibiza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ibiza Beach Hopping Cruise with Paddleboards, Drinks and Food 6h, Ibiza Pool Party and Club Tour including O Beach and Eden Club, 3 Hours All Inclusive Boat Trip Ibiza. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ibiza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ibiza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Ibiza Sailing Trip and Sunset Experience (Up to 6 Guest)?
