    Save your money. They...

Save your money. They limit the food to 300 rupees, and I didnt really feel like it actually included the most famous Hyderabad dishes like I hoped to try (no biryani!) My guide was good, but was just a local university student rather than a pro. The start point on viator app was different to the one going to the guide, so the organisers are taking most of the money you pays and not even doing their job properly!

    Excellent tour and guide

This is an excellent tour. Alok was very knowledgeable and took the extra effort to ensure that we are safe and comfortable. The crowds and traffic can get overwhelming. In the food tour, he ensured that he took us for very unique things that we had not tried before. I would highly recommend this tour.

    Delicious and informative

We had a wonderful variety of food guided by a very knowledgeable guide. He considered the hygiene and our tastes when selecting food for us to sample.

    simply the best

Amazing experience. The guide was fantastic and I tasted local and Indian food. We called with the cookers, took photos and walked to incredible Hyderabad old city.

    Unprofessional Experience

We have just finished our street food tour experience in Hyderabad and I would love to express my disappointment with the service provided. In the tour’s description, they outline two key things: 1. They ‘designed this amazing experience for you with an intention to take you to these places for food tasting.’ 2. There will be a ‘Highly trained and friendly Storyteller/ Guide’ We feel that neither of these things were met. During the food tour it was clear that there was no clear plan on where we were going or what we were going to eat. There was a lot of time spent walking around with our guide asking people for directions or where to get certain foods. Although the food we did try was delicious, the majority of our time was spent aimlessly walking around in the heat. Secondly, our guide was not highly trained and not a storyteller. We did not learn much about the food and history of Hyderabad which is a shame. He was extremely friendly and clearly doing his best. We enjoyed spending time with him but the experience provided was not adequate. When we expressed these concerns with our guide at the end, he told us he had only been informed about this job at 9pm last night. He also said that he did not really have enough time to plan his route. This indicates not only a lack of ‘high training’ but also tells us that he is expected to come up with routes himself but that there is no experience designed by the company. I have since reached out to the organisers but they have ignored my messages which is a shame.

Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hyderabad.

How much does Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour) cost?

    +

Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hyderabad usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour) take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hyderabad is not rushed.

Is Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hyderabad, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour)?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hyderabad can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hyderabad and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hyderabad Street Food Crawl (2 Hours Guided Food Tasting Tour) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hyderabad within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hyderabad?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hyderabad experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hyderabad: A Private Full-Day Guided City Tour with Ethnic Lunch, Private tour of Hyderabad with lunch for a cultural immersion, Full-Day Experiential Hyderabad Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hyderabad?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hyderabad?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
